'I had such a lovely and relaxing stay in this charming cottage. It has a wonderful old-fashioned character and history while still having everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything was clean and convenient, and I felt at home straight away. It was lovely to sit in the garden with my tea in the morning and a drink in the evening watching the bees and butterflies around the flowers. 'The cottage was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a short break in the New Forest. The Colin Nash restaurant was a short walk away with delicious food and staff were very welcoming. We also had a lovely meal at The Rising Sun, a short drive away. There was storage for our bikes. The garden was fully enclosed and our dog was more than happy exploring. The only niggle was the noise of the fridge - an annoying beeping sound, you could hear sitting in the lounge.'

'We stayed at the stables for one week. The place was very beautiful and had all the facilities we needed, except for a coffee maker. The large kitchen with lots of utensils made it easy to prepare food. One minor detail was the lighting: in the evening, the available lights were quite bright. Smaller, cozier lights could greatly improve the ambiance.'

'I stayed at Peppercorn Cottage with my husband, 3yo, ten-month old and our dog and it was heaven. It's an adorable house, packed with character and beautifully done out. We had everything we needed and Nicola was very helpful in bringing over kids bits and answering any questions. Cheriton is a lovely village; Arlesford is great for small independent shops and the countryside is gorgeous. We had a great weekend all in all and would love to come back.'

Overall1930s shabby chic vibe is very nice and as expected. Good location in rural residential area10 mins walk to nearest shop and a pub. Neighbours are very close by and pay close attention to people coming and going. Rooms were clean and beds had clean white bedding. Mattresses were very comfortable. There...
