« This house was perfect for the 4 of us. We all had our own bedroom and shared the bath. It’s very clean and close to everywhere we were going! The home is modern and the beds were comfy! I would stay there again. Great home! »

« Wonderful house for our family Christmas vacation! The host was terrific. She checked in multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed and were not having any problems. She decorated the house beautifully for us …. both inside and out. Large kitchen table for the family to eat at and play games. Duraflame logs were provided for us to enjoy the fireplace. Everything was clean and nice bedroom linens. Good location. Overall, a great place to stay. We would stay here again if ever back in...

« House was lovely and very comfortable. The ammenities in house were plentiful and up to date. We were able to make dinner and find all that we needed to do so and we we able to relax comfortably and sleep well. Host was easy to reach and responsive. « Our stay came after an 18" snowfall and near 0F cold in historic Collinsville, so we were concerned about our late arrival, parking, safe walkways and a warm home. What we found were shovelled and treated walkways, a freshly plowed parking space, lights and heat on and a lovely home on the banks of the frozen Farmington River. Coming from Texas, we couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome to Connecticut.Carol's 1860 home is nicely furnished and spotless. Crisp bed linens and oversized...
