« I’m a stickler for cleanliness. This cottage was immaculate! I’m talking no old debris in the corners, walls were clean and a super clean bathroom. This was way more than we expected in a beach town. No sand to be found in the cottage. Amenities were all we needed. Thank you for the coffee and brewer! »

« Don't stay here. I'd spend the small amount more per night and go to Surfside Resort down the street... which is what we did. The room was gross- a 2-inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor at the entrance. The kitchen was noticeably slanted downhill, and the bathroom had a cardboard sign in the window that said "do not open..." (clearly it didn't work, but that sign has been there a long time, too, given the water marks on the cardboard). The fridge had noticeable dust, brown...

I explained the issues with cleaning up the dirty entrance of the room. First impression was not good. The rest of the room was extremely clean. The refrigerator although adorable, had a problem with the handle falling off. The location and area are fabulous. The bed was wonderful and I appreciated the brand name toiletries I even asked for a reservation for...

« A clean place that was even more spacious than we thought it would be. Great proximity to beaches, shops and restaurants. Very comfortable beds, too. »

« Parking was easily accessible. Loved the location! Everything was nearby. The interior was minimalistic but clean. The only thing I’d suggest would be maybe to add a bit more lighting to the back porch and the front of the cottage. It was quite dark when taking out our pup for a potty walk. Adding a small lamp in the living room corner near the window would be great too! The ceiling lights were a little bright for us when watching a movie at night. Other than that it was a great place! »

« Really enjoy not being right in town but close enough to get in and shop, eat etc. Like being on the lake with the great views and quiet surrounding. Easy to go to Tillalmook or to the shops in Wheeler for a little change of scenery. It's a lovely area aroung Rockaway, with plenty to do or laze on the beach. »
