  • Our villa Bootango is located in Roches Noires which is a seaside village for lovers of calm and tranquility. Roches Noires is a very special coast of Mauritius as it harbours exclusively beachfront villas that are mostly secondary homes. There are no hotels in Roches Noires in contrast to other regions and the location of our villa guarantees absolute intimacy. The topography of Roches Noires consists of many sheltered small coves of white sand offering excellent and safe swimming. The lagoon which is several kilometers long, dotted with islands is perfectly safe and presents myriads of shades of blue and green. Villa Magnolia is beachfront, in the first position, on one of these beautiful coves of Roches Noires. The villa is part of a complex of 8 top luxurious villas set in a privileged location. NOTES ON TARIFFS:- The base tariffs are for 2-4 persons. The tariffs for 5-10 persons is on request.

Wonderful place to be.

Helemaal prima en geweldig genoten. Het enige aandachtspunt voor deze locatie- is zorg gewoon voor toiletpapier, afwasmiddel, zeep en shampoo in de woning tijdens het verblijf of geef dit vooraf duidelijk aan.

Lovely Stay

The villa is as described, lovely and peaceful location. Having the beach at the end of the garden was perfect. We had a car, so we were able to travel to places. Even though it is a long way from places like Fli en Flac or Le Morne, we still made trips there. We plan to stay there again as the peace and tranquility there was just what we were looking for.

Belle villa

La villa est très bien organisée pour que chacun ait son espace ( adultes/enfants), et qu’on puisse puisse tous se retrouver pour dîner. La table est un peu juste pour 10… Villa bien équipée et la piscine ainsi que la plage sont très appréciables. Le personnel de maison est très agréable et discret. Il manque juste un aspirateur et un petit jacuzzi ! Nous vous recommandons cette villa pour des vacances inoubliables.

La villa Parfaite . La mer , la piscine, la déco très chaleureuse et cocooning .

Idéalement située pour parcourir le nord de l île . En moins de 30mn . La cote Est est beaucoup moins touristique .canoës sur place . Petit magasin à moins d1 km qui vend de tout . Et notre coup de cœur pour Vidhia la cuisinière qui nous a offert de bons moments de partage Accompagnee de Asha .cette villa est notre gros coup de cœur .

Wonderful Holiday

If you are looking for a relaxing, beach side property there are few that could beat Villa Botango. The villa is wonderfully appointed and the pool, gardens are fantastic. However, this villa is all about it's proximity to the beach and you walk out the patio onto your own private bit of beach with comfortable sun loungers. We are early risers so watched the sun rise some mornings from the kayaks. Vydia & Asha ensured the property was kept clean and cooked us the most delightful meals using local ingredients. You will need a car if you are looking to eat out as there are no restaurants within walking distance unless you get taxis. A truly wonderful island and location. We will return.

Wonderful Holiday

The villa faces the beach and what a view! We love the privacy the villa offers and the direct access to the beach which is very exclusive. The beach is clean and the sand is fine. There is sea grass in the water however. The kayaks provided were used frequently. The villa itself is very clean and is as described. We enjoyed our stay very much, thanks also to the 2 lovely housekeepers who came every day. One of them is a wonderful cook who can serve up a lovely meal if asked. We just have to pay for the ingredients. The weather in Oct is great and we had a most wonderful holiday. Thanks very much to the owner and staff!

Si vous aimez voyager pendant de longues périodes de temps pour aller partout , après avoir voyagé 24 heures pour se rendre à la Villa . Si vous aimez les chiens qui envahissent votre espace et les constructeurs de détruire votre détente tranquille et aiment avoir des maux de tête et des douches froides . Si vous aimez les étrangers qui envahissent l'espace que vous avez loué et cuisiner pour eux-mêmes . Si vous aimez la location d'une propriété qui ne se décrit . Si vous aimez la cuisson sur les grilles sales et aiment pas passer du temps avec la famille que vous avez dépensé votre argent durement gagné à faire exactement la même chose que vous faites à la maison que Villa Boontango est l'endroit pour vous .

Fantastiche

As a family we really enjoyed this house with a beautiful location. Where we had everything at our disposal. Furthermore, There were 2 ladies, Vydia and Asha, present to provide us with everything, cleaning and providing food. Really great. A gardener also came every other day to take care of the garden. To eat out, we sometimes had to drive 15 to 30 minutes to find a restaurant. Furthermore, I found the communication with Jean Pierre to be mediocre. I had asked a question because unfortunately due to circumstances we came with 1 person less whether a compensation was possible because we had paid for it, but unfortunately no response. We definitely recommend staying in this villa on a beautiful green island. And the pictures on the site are real. And the photos on the site are as it actually is. Regards Johan

Superbe Villa sur la Plage

Quel bonheur de passer des vacances dans cette magnifique villa. Belle décoration, bien équipée. La villa et son jardin donnent directement sur la plage. Les chambres sont grandes et toutes en suite avec sdb. Et surtout il y a notre merveilleuse équipe qui a veillé sur nous, pour nous préparer de délicieux petits plats mauriciens. Vidya à la cuisine et Asha pour l'entretien de la maison. Nous reviendrons c'est certain.

A perfect vacation

Our family (5 adults and 2 kids) spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful villa. The house is well kept and the two maids who works in the villa made our stay even better, they are the best. Veronique, the villa manager, was very helpful both before and during our stay. Beach and pool are also perfect. We spent many hours in the comfortable sunbeds at the beach. You need car or taxi if you want to go to restaurants or shops. Shoppingmall 20 minutes away where you can buy all you need in terms of food and drinks. We will come back for sure

Villa exceptionnelle pour des vacances sans souci

La villa est à 100% conforme aux descriptif et photos et propose de très beaux espaces. A 3 couples d’amis, les trois salons et deux salles à manger permettent de bien choisir où bouquiner, où manger, où discuter, où jouer aux cartes, où prendre l'apéro. Le design intérieur est agréable et moderne (belles peintures) et la conception de la cuisine permet une préparation conviviale entre amis. La terrasse couverte avec salon et salle à manger permet de vivre à l’extérieur, sans être gêné par le soleil (ou la pluie), et avec vue exceptionnelle sur la mer. La piscine est très, très agréable. Les transats confortables et impeccables. Le jardin est vraiment grand pour s'installer où on veut, avec des places à l'ombre. Nous n’étions pas motorisés mais localement, on trouve toujours des solutions avec un taxi pour aller au marché (dimanche/mercredi) ou pour acheter du poisson directement auprès des pêcheurs (poisson perroquet totalement surprenant, il faut essayer). C’est très agréable d’avoir Vidya et Acha pour la préparation d’un repas et pour le ménage. L'achat de nourriture sur place n'est vraiment pas cher, et les mangues se ramassent par terre... Nous avions la chance qu’aucune autre villa du lotissement (8 villas) n’était occupée (hors vacances scolaires), ce qui rendait la plage en face de la villa quasiment privatisée. La mer juste en face de la villa n’est pas tout-à-fait d’un bleu azur sur la 1e partie, car beaucoup d’herbes de mer, le mieux c’est de prévoir des chaussons aquatiques. Par contre, il ne faut vraiment pas aller loin pour nager parmi les bancs de poissons, voir les oursins calés dans les rochers. Au niveau de la location même, de très bons contacts et une bonne réactivité avec le propriétaire, puis localement avec Véronique, la gestionnaire, tout était impeccable. Je vous recommande de faire appel à Elizabeth pour des massages divins : il y a une pièce avec une table de massage toute prête. Bref, si ce n’était pas si loin, nous y retournerions sans problème.

Juste parfait ....

Nous tenions à vous dire combien notre séjour a la villa Bootango a été parfait. La maison d'abord qui est vraiment superbe. Parfaitement décorée, spacieuse dans laquelle les 3 générations réunies ont passées un vrai moment de bonheur. L'endroit est superbe dans un endroit encore préservé de Maurice, très authentique. Vidya et Acha ont été formidables et la cuisine de Vidya a conquis les papilles des plus exigeants et des moins habitués a la cuisine mauricienne. Nous repasserons par là si notre chemin devait nous ramener a Maurice.

séjour inoubliable

Villa conforme à la description et aux photos ; encore mieux quand on est sur place ! Emplacement en bord de mer idéal, équipements au top, espaces immenses, mais surtout la gentillesse et le sourire de Vidya et Acha. S'il faut faire une petite critique, an a eu du mal à trouver la villa, le plan n'est pas assez précis, et quand le portail est fermé, on ne la voit pas !!! A recommander les yeux fermés (heu non, plutôt ouverts pour en profiter) !!!

Phantastic place- gordious landscape - nice people

We (a family with 5 kids age 5-14) had wonderful 3 weeks in the Villa Bootango. The house is beautifully located with a garden front that ends directly at the beach 20 meters from the clear sea. The pretty garden pool is well maintained and was - as the ocean - in heavy use for daily swims not only by the kids but also by the parents! The house is spacious and furnished both, with good taste and practical. 10 people could easily live here comfortably, the 7 of us had privacy and comfort as we wished. The property is well maintained by gardeners, a competent house manager, who regularly contactes us to see if everything fits our needs and security personnel that made us feel safe and at home. The 2 local housekeeping ladies from the nearby neighbourhood organized everything around the household, kept the house in perfect order (despite 5 young kids - we still try to copy at home how they managed all this...) and cooked delicious meals that were hard to find in any restaurant around the island. Above all they were extremely friendly, reliable and discrete. The Roche Noire Area is a bit away from the classical resorts, cities and tourist places, but offers original pittoresk Mauritius feeling and island charme instead. However, a rental car is a must if you stay here. Altogether, an unforgettable experience for young and old(er) that we can highly recommend. (One comment to the rather negative evaluation from a recent visitor that initially made us a bit nervous: yes, you may encounter bypassers occasionally (ocean access in Mauritius - even in the top resorts is open for everyone everywhere) or a strolling dog from time to time. Happens in our village at home in Germany, too. If this is too much typical indian/african daily life for you - book a Sheraton on the Maledives...

Villa de carte postale..! Merveilleux séjour.

Dès notre arrivée nous avons été charmés par une belle démonstration de l'hospitalité Mauricienne..! Accueillis gentiment par Véronique, la gérante, et avec le sourire de Vidya et de Acha. Les deux se sont montrées discrètes et efficaces durant notre séjour, la cuisine de Vidya nous a tous conquis..! La maison est superbe, bien entretenue et très confortable. Acha veille à faire le service des chambres sans déranger les locataires. Merci Acha. La plage est vraiment superbe, le bain excellent et la petite piscine ajoute à l'agrément de la villa BOOTANGO...Une image pour carte postale et une adresse pour des vacances heureuses en famille. Nous reviendrons, c'est sur. Cristel, Stephane et famille.

Très belle villa

Emplacement idyllique avec accès direct à la plage ou 2 transats sont réservés à la villa. La maison est parfaite, propre, grande et fonctionnelle. Jolie déco et personnel adorable. Attention, il vous faut faire les courses pour la cuisinière donc voiture ou taxi obligatoire (le supermarché le plus proche étant à Grand Baie à environ 25 mn en voiture). Nous achetions chaque jour du poisson à un des pêcheurs sur la plage. Cependant gros hic à notre séjour : le bruit des travaux de la grande maison d'à coté en construction ( marteaux, scie électrique, bétonneuse et engin de terrassement de 7h30 à 16h du lundi au vendredi). Aucun moyen de se reposer sereinement sur la plage. Nous reviendrons...Lorsque les travaux seront finis...

La maison est belle et très bien placée sur la plage. Site agréable pour un séjour en famille. TB.

"nous avons sejourne dans...

"nous avons sejourne dans la villa du 21 novembre au 02 decembre 2012... la villa est fabuleuse ainsi que le personnel de maison .tout s est parfaitement deroule de notre prise en charge a l aeroport jusqu a notre depart . nous etions 8 et avons tous ete enchante par notre sejour .pour le prix les prestations sont parfaites et nous avons hate de pouvoir y retourner l annee prochaine .une villa somptueuse sur une plage magnifique que demander de plus !!!"

"Rien à dire,la conformit...

"Rien à dire,la conformité de l''annonçe était parfaite seul inconvénient l''invasion d''une vingtaine d''amis de l''intermédiaire qui sont venus faire la fête un dimanche à la maison d''à côté en finition et qui n''arrêtaient pas de traverser notre jardin et troublant notre tranquilité. Nous avons l''habitude de l''ile et ce dernier séjour nous a montré que la culture du respect se perd aussi à Maurice. Malgré tout la perfection de la maison nous a vite fait oublier ce désagrément. Nous y retournerons très rapidement si le propriétaire veut bien de nous!!!"

"juste un petit hic nous n''avons pas trouver facilement un endroit pour faire du ski nautique ou autres sport nautique les plus proches etant grand baie ou belle mare et sans connaissance difficile de trouver quelqu''un de dispo sur roches noires"
