Kiran is one of the small villages in the old municipality of Roan and is open to the sea. To the east, the bay is protected by large mountains. Kiran is a good starting point for fjord fishing and there are opportunities to hire a boat nearby. There are also several salmon-bearing rivers in the area for those who want to try. Remember to check the local regulations beforehand. You can also find deposits of scallops in the fjord.



There are wonderful opportunities for hiking in the area, explore the picturesque landscape or conquer the peaks of various mountains, here you have plenty of choice.
