'The most helpful and kid host and staff. Giovanna went above and beyond communicating and making great suggestions for my stay. The location is excellent, very near the station if you plan to use this as your base station to visit Cinque Terre and surroundings. Restaurants, souvenir stores, pharmacy and supermarkets are very near, within 5-6 minutes from the apartment. Even though the place itself is a bit outdated, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. 'Het verblijf is zeer gunstig gelegen om een uitstap te maken naar Cinque Terre. Met de trein goed te doen wat maar 5 minuten lopen is vanaf het verblijf. Er zijn goede fietsen gratis beschikbaar. Leuk is om bv met de fiets naar Levanto te rijden of het rustig gelegen Framura.'

'The First is a very nice small apartment complex in a lively area in La Spezia. The very nice host Andrea went out of his way to make our trip very great. We were given great Cinque Terre tips and suggestions for restaurants. The hotel is very clean and modern. The only thing I would change is a little more privacy by having the bathroom window closed. Bathrooms are best when they're private. Had a great experience overall! '
