    The Space:

    With a serene location on the banks of Clear Creek and two-story windows that frame the river and the surrounding woodlands, Rustling Waters Getaway will help you relax, unwind, and truly get away from it all. This beautiful Mt. Hood A-frame house features a light-filled interior with vaulted tongue-and-groove wood ceilings, a large stone fireplace with a wood-burning insert, and stunning outdoor features that include a private hot tub, a wrap-around deck, a firepit, and a wood swing down by the creek. A riverfront retreat at Rustling Waters is a vacation you'll remember for a lifetime.



    The small towns of Welches and Rhododendron are both three miles away, providing you with several fun restaurants and shops to enjoy. You'll be two miles from the ever-popular Skyway Bar & Grill in Zigzag, and close to the lovely trails in the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness. Charming Government Camp is a 12-mile drive from home, and Mt. Hood Skibowl (12 miles), Timberline Lodge (19 miles), and Mt. Hood Meadows (23 miles) are wonderful spots for all sorts of wintertime thrills.

Besides the hot tub randomly being broken it was a flawless experience and a memorable one. *Beautiful* grounds, quite literally breathtakingly beautiful. There is a neighbor who is fairly visible from the house but it wasn't an issue (just isn't shown in the pictures on the listing).

Our family enjoyed a quiet winter weekend at rustling waters retreat. The location is beautiful and private, with forest and a nice open field next to clear creek. The house was comfortable, and communication from the property manager and access was all very easy. We would definitely go again!

Tranquil getaway

This home has a lot of character and charm and the creek is awesome! Great location, short drive to a handful of restaurants/shopping and all sorts of amazing nature is nearby as well.

Let me start off by saying that the area was beautiful and peaceful. The check in process was smooth. The home could use a really good deep cleaning. Spiderwebs in the corners and on the fixtures. Dirt built up under the rugs. When I grabbed a pan from under the kitchen cabinet, there were mice droppings inside. I understand the home is in the woods, but pest control should to be addressed. The hot tub didn't work which was one of the highlights of why we booked this home. Overall, the grounds were nice, the creek was peaceful, but cleaning and the hot tub should be addressed or not included in the description of the home.

Very clean, private and cozy!

We loved staying here. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. The creek in the backyard was amazing and everything was so beautiful and totally private. The fireplace was fun and a cozy way to spend the cooler nights.

Beautiful and relaxing.

We had everything we needed and were so comfortable! Close to trails and the mountain, also so content to sit right on the river, soak in the hot tub and wake up to the beautiful view. We wish we could of stayed longer!

The host contacted me to let me know early check in was available but we arived on time. The house was warmed up and ready for our arrival.The yard is deceptively large with tons of space. The livingroom was inviting and has amazing windows. We spent most of our time exploring the river and taking in the beautiful fall colors.
