Family vacation

We (13 people) had a great week in your villa. The welcome is very warm. The villa is more beautiful than in the picture and the breakfast which was freshly cooked each morning was delicious. We would like to thank the whole team for their dedication (Meinos, Ely, Barbara, Maria). We recommend this villa for those who want to discover Crete. Your dream comes true.

Villa de qualité et service nickel. Ce n'est pas à côté de la mer ni près des belles plages mais ce n'était pas ce que nous recherchions. Endroit calme mais proche de Rethymno et de ses restos.

The villa is lovely, clean and spacious. The outdoor pool and the football pitch were very popular. Nikos, Barbara and Maria were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble - the breakfasts made it really special. Nikos was always available to help with booking taxis, restaurant recommendations etc.Unfortunately the hot tub was out of action, which was disappointing, and we were not able to use the indoor pool, but we everyone had a great holiday and would love to return.

Dreamcatcher Villa, AMAZING!!

Extended family of 13 staying for a week July 24 (Not Long Enough). Absolutely everything was as advertised and certainly exceeded expectations. Menios (Concierge) provided plentiful assistance leading upto our stay and ensured everything we required was provided in advance. Maria (Owner) has created a beautiful Home that caters brilliantly to Kids and big kids alike! Everything you could need to live for a short period as a celebrity was on hand! Thanks for sharing your home with us! A review of our stay would not be complete if we did not mention the breakfast provided each morning. We were extremely spoiled and Barbara went over and above to ensure we were catered for perfectly with home supplies duly provided as necessary. Already planning another booking in the future!! Beautiful, spacious villa right outside Rethymno!

My extended family and I loved our stay at the Dreamcatcher Villa! The house is gorgeous, very spacious and outfitted with everything you could wish for, including Netflix, tons of boardgames, books, a piano (!), and a little playground for the smallest among us. Manos and Eleni were amazing and took great care of us. The fridge was filled with basics when we arrived and raki, fresh fruit and Greek pastries were waiting for us on the table. The daily breakfast by Eleni was amazing! I can't wait to go back!!

Amazing house near Rethymno

Our extended family had a lovely week in the Dreamcatcher Villa. The house itself is beautifully designed, modern and plenty of space for the 9 of us. The location was good - on its own, so quiet, but a 3 min drive from a supermarket and bakery, 5 mins to the nearby village with nice tavernas and 15 mins into Rethymno, which we visited a lot as it's a beautiful old town with nice restaurants and shops. We went at the end of October and had bad weather, so the pool didn't get used, but it looked great, with loads of space to lounge around. Table tennis was great too. Menos was super helpful in checking in, and also with everything else we needed, and Helen came every day to make breakfast and clean up. Would definitely go back - would be lovely to spend a week there in good weather enjoying the pool and tranquility!

We are family of 2 adults & 3 children (9 months, 3 yrs & 5yrs) We stayed for a total of 21 days in July/August and were joined at various points by friends and relatives. The villa is large enough for everyone to have enough space and bathrooms each! Location- Very near to town, supermarkets and a bakery. Taxi into town only a few Euro's. Rooms - rooms are basic, clean & tidy with everything you need. 2 rooms are mezzanine offering an extra room above however, the above rooms are very very hot due to 1 aircon unit to service the up & down floor. Pool - The best one we have had so far in Greece. large, good depth and the baby pool was an extra bonus. The only thing I would recommend is pool shoes. The walk from the house to the pool is really hot! The pool filters are rather sharp and our children regularly complained of sore feet. Eleni - She looks after the cleaning and cooks the biggest & most creative breakfasts ever! Eleni really did make the whole stay fantastic and will make sure you never go hungry! Overall we had a great stay and any problems or queries we had were dealt with immediately.

Super Urlaub, die Villa ist ein Traum! Absolute Weiterempfehlung!

Wir waren vom 24.08. bis 06.09.2019 mit 10 Erwachsenen, 5 Kindern und 2 Babies in der Villa Dreamcatcher. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Bei der Anreise hat uns Manos herzlich empfangen. Kalte Getränke, Snacks und Eis für die Kinder waren bereits vorbereitet. Er hat sich sehr lange Zeit genommen um uns in aller Ruhe das Haus zu zeigen und uns die Umgebung zu erklären. Welche Strände für uns zu empfehlen sind, wo sich die besten Restaurants befinden, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etc. Die Villa ist absolut top ausgestattet, sehr ordentlich und gepflegt und auf dem neusten Stand. Die Bilder in der Beschreibung sind absolut authentisch. Das Haus hat eine sehr gute Lage, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto innerhalb von 2-3 Minuten zu erreichen. Sowohl erreicht man einheimische Supermärkte mit traditionellen Speisen, also auch Märkte wie „Lidl“ um die alltäglichen Dinge einkaufen zu können. Restaurants am Meer oder in der Stadt sind mit dem Auto ebenfalls innerhalb von 4-8 Minuten zu erreichen. Eine Taxifahrt kostet von hier um die 5-10€, falls man das Auto lieber am Hause stehen lassen möchte. Strände gibt es jede Menge, der nächste Strand/Bucht ist ca. 5 Minuten entfernt. Aber es gibt eine große Auswahl - erst Recht wenn man bereit ist etwas länger zu fahren. Ebenfalls sind gibt es verschiedene Beach Clubs - die Poolanlange und Strand verbinden. Gerade für Kinder ist das sehr schön. Da Haus ist ausgestattet mit insgesamt 5 Schlafzimmern, jeweils mit eigenem Badezimmer, was bei einer so großen Personenanzahl absolut praktisch ist. Insgesamt ist das Haus super ausgestattet. Von täglich frischen Handtüchern, Badetüchern,Sonnenschirmen (auch zur Mitnahme an den Strand), Fön, alle möglichen Küchengeräte, Waschmaschinen, Bügeleisen etc. Wlan steht ebenfalls zur Verfügung. Ein ganz besonderes Highlight ist die liebe Haushälterin Eleni. Sie kommt außer Sonntags täglich und bereitet das Frühstück zu. Leckere Sandwiches, frische Croissants, süßes Gebäck und alles was das Herz begehrt. der frische Obstkorb wird auch aufgefüllt. Auf Wunsch macht sie Eierspeisen je nach Vorlieben, presst frischen Orangensaft etc. Nach dem Frühstück räumt sie alles wieder komplett auf und macht sich an das Haus. Alle Zimmer werden gereinigt, Betten frisch bezogen, Handtücher ausgetauscht. Ein super Service! Wir sind wirklich sehr sehr zufrieden mit der Auswahl dieses Hauses und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Pictures dont do it justice

To start id like to thank menios and alena for everything! We had a great stay in the villa! The check in process was easy and we were shown around the villa to which the pictures do not do the villa any justice! The villa is 10x times better in real life. We had a party of 8 and a baby and we had more than enough room to manoeuvre and not be in each others way, the rooms were situated great the only downfall was the aircon not reaching up to the top bunks in the double rooms! The views from the villa are breathtaking whilst not being far from local towns with it being a 5 minute drive. Menios helped us book most things including dinners and beach clubs and was first class he also helped set up hiring a car before we landed which the process was very quick and was ideal with the party size we had , whilst alena the maid/chef made sure we were all fed to the brim each morning and maintained the cleanliness of the villa each day to a high standard! Dont be afraid to ask in the morning at breakfast if you fancy something else also she catered to all the needs we asked. Id highly recommend this villa if your looking for a good family getaway!

Great Crete Getaway

We were a party of 4 families, including 8 kids ranging from 18 months to 9 years. The villa is perfect for all ages, we had a great week starting with a fabulous welcome by Manos. You defo need a car, and we visited many fantastic nearby beaches, all with Tavernas serving delicious food! There is a local supermarket, butchers and bakers (and ice cream / deli! Delicious) all a few mins drive where you will find all you need! Fresh fruit & veg / wine etc etc! It is worth visiting Rethymno old town for a stroll around the beautiful streets or a special meal out at Cavo or Prima Plora - both just 10min drive from the villa, overlooking the ocean with amazing food and service! A must! We loved our week at Dreamcatcher, and would thoroughly recommend to friends & family!

Entspannter Urlaub mit super Service

Wir sind mit drei Familie, insgesamt 14 Personen, im Oktober in der Villa Dreamcatcher gewesen und es hat alles gepasst. Die Villa ist genau wie beschrieben ausgestattet, alles was das Herz begehrt ist vorhanden und es ist sauber. Bei der Ankunft hat uns Menios erwartet und uns mit dem Haus vertraut gemacht. Ein kleiner Snack war vorbereitet und auch Getränke waren da. Er hat uns Vorschläge gemacht was wir unternehmen können oder wo wir essen gehen können und angeboten alles zu regeln. Als wir am zweiten Tag eine kleine Mückenplage hatten, wurde sofort etwas vorbei gebracht um Abhilfe zu schaffen. Das Highlight war allerdings der Frühstücksservice. Außer am Sonntag stand jeden Morgen ab 9.00 Uhr Frühstück auf dem Tisch.Die liebe Eleni hat jeden Morgen verschiedene Eierspeisen gezaubert und ist immer auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Sie hat sogar einen leckeren Schokoladenkuchen gebacken, als einer von und Geburtstag hatte. Alles wurde wieder abgewaschen und abgeräumt und danach noch das Haus geputzt. Dafür nochmal vielen Dank. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die Stadt Rethymnon sind wirklich nicht weit weg, es ist aber ratsam einen Wagen am Haus zu haben, weil es ziemlich gebirgig ist. Wir haben einen Ausflug in die Samaria Schlucht gemacht, was sehr zu empfehlen ist, allerdings nur für Personen die körperlich fit sind und nicht für kleine Kinder. Das Haus ist also ohne Einschränkungen zu empfehlen für alle Alterklassen.

Lovely family get away

Our time at dream catcher was relaxing. The villa was as described with all the luxuries it had to offer. Waking up to the smell of the lovely breakfast provided by Eleni as well as her service around the villa everyday. Menios' provided a good welcome and Manos' you topped it with your impeccable knowledge of Crete and recommendations you gave. The villa was enough as we didn't have to go anywhere more to enjoy our stay. A big thank you for the Baja beach gift. My family and I had a lovely time and if we visit Crete again we definitely be coming back. Thank you Doyin Okunowo

Villa is amazing!!!

The whole package at Dreamcatcher is unbeatable. The villa is great and is even better than the photos. Location was perfect for us to do a number of different trips away. Our group was four families with 15 people and everyone loved it and had just the right amount of space. The pool and play area was again perfect for families with kids of a number of different ages.

Dreamcatcher truly is a dream!!

We recently spent two amazing weeks at this wonderful villa, and our visit could not have been more perfect! My husband and I, celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, took our three daughters, their husbands, and our 6 grandchildren (14 of us, with the children ranging from 11 months to 11 years) on a dream trip to Crete, where my husband has his family roots. From start to finish, it was perfect! First of all, the villa was even better than the pictures! The location is perfect—close to the small town of Atsipopouli, where we used their market, larger Aldi-owned grocery store, and wonderful bakery daily—and to Rethymno, whose fortress and intriguing old town were fun to explore, and gave us plenty of shopping opportunities! And the villa is perfectly located for visiting many lovely beaches and their villages, Chania and it’s beautiful harbor, and for catching a ferry to Santorini. We all rented cars, and had a wonderful time just exploring the area and its friendly, welcoming people. The villa was a great space for even a group of our size— we all loved having our own bathroom, there were plenty of places to gather, and the outdoor spaces couldn’t have been better!! The patios and lovely lounge furniture and umbrellas for the much-needed shade, to the most perfect, large, and spotlessly clean pool—perfection!! We loved the large property, and even enjoyed the friendly neighborhood goats (a granddaughter excitedly told us “four goats watched us play ping-pong!”). Last, but far from least, Manos could not have done enough to make our stay memorable! He welcomed us at the villa with wine, raki, and a wonderful spread of Greek goodies, and our refrigerator was stocked with basics. He also took the time to fill us in, with a map and directions, on some of the not-to-be missed local attractions. The few minor glitches we encountered were dealt with swiftly; Manos’ goal was for us to have a care-free holiday! And we can’t say enough good about Eleni, whose sweet presence as she cleaned every day, and whose amazing breakfasts made our stay so comfortable and special! Her efforts to keep our coffee-happy group satisfied were appreciated!! Manos suggested Voyager rental cars to us, and they were so good to deal with—even coming to the villa to switch out a malfunctioning GPS system! And Menios, also suggested by Manos, made our Santorini arrangements faultlessly. Thanks, too, to Manos for the wonderful day at Baja Beach Club!

Unbelievable!!!!!

This house is fantastic!! From the open layout to the huge pool to its convenient location- the house has everything!! We were two families of 4 and we all had plenty of space. The house is quiet - we never heard any noise from the other people in our party nor was there any loud outside noise other than the chirping birds. The house is conveniently located to the old city - it is just a few minute drive away. Additionally there are great beaches and restaurants. Finally our stay was made memorable by Menios who was so accommodating and helpful - helped us secure an additional rental car and transport from Heraklion airport. Additionally, Eleni cooked the most amazing breakfast for us each day and kept the house spotless. We can say enough good things about this hous - it is even better than the pictures! Can’t wait for our next visit!!!!
