« Staff and food are the key reasons I’m awarding 5 stars. They dealt with everything even though I forgot to complete the info before arrival. Room was lovely and clean and loved sitting by the log fire near the bar. As a traveller without a dog, I found all the dogs and owners great and appreciated they were separate in the main restaurant. »

« Second visit. Great place. Lovely clean room. comfy bed, lots of thoughtful touches in room. Great pub below with wonderful food and drinks. Service, both on arrival, evening meals and especially at breakfast was excellent. Very efficient and friendly. breakfast was amazing - beautiful food especially granola, wonderful full english and eggs Benedict. Loads of parking on site and great atmosphere. Lovely cared-for garden too. Location perfect. Highly recommend. »
