« First, we were told we wouldn't need to meet anyone there, that there would be a lock-box and we could just get in. The cabana was hard to find and not marked (to know which one was ours), and the combination we were given was wrong. The wifi information we were given was also wrong, and the wifi network we were given access to barely worked. It looks like there is a dedicated router at the location, but it was disconnected. Amenities listed that were not in fact included: -Washer and Dryer...

« This island is AMAZING! Everything from the gorgeous water, snorkeling, kayaking, well appointed cabanas, friendly staff, to the phenomenal food! My husband and I really enjoyed our relaxing vacation. We love that it wasn’t a party atmosphere but a laid back and enjoyable one. We had the island to ourselves most of the time with day trippers only staying for part of the day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique getaway suitable for lovebirds or families! »

« I had the most amazing time. The house was absolutely beautiful. The woodwork (repurposed wood) created a very comfortable and chill vibe. The house was fully loaded and spacious. The view was unbelieveable anytime you looked at it. It was very quiet and really nice to escape the day to day things that go on. I was able to just shut off
but still had wi-fi :). Everything was within walking distance, the people were so friendly, people crossing on the side walk or anywhere would great you...

« Our family really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well stocked. The view on the river is wonderful. We hand manatees right out the front door. Kayaking was a highlight. We wished we would have booked a longer stay and look forward to returning. »

« My wife and I stayed in one of the cottages while viewing potential real estate deals. All communications were excellent leading up to and during the visit. Because we were visiting as Hurricane Beryl was forming the staff gave us there local view on what was coming so we could make decisions as we were moving on next to Ambergris Caye. A lot of restaurants and locals sales booths within walking distance. A lot of opportunity to interact with the locals which is what we wanted. Would...

« The cabin was just as described. Well cared for by the care-takers Antonio and Dena. There were a lot of birds, and we saw Red-Lored Amazons among many others. Being near the river, and in a fairly dense forested area, there were mosquitoes and no-seeums. The large screened porch was a great place to enjoy the wildlife. A good BBQ was provided, the cabin was very large, and the a/c worked very well. All in all, a great stay. Recommend. »

« We loved our stay at the Banks. Check in was easy. The house is fully equipped with everything to make your stay most enjoyable. You wake up to birds chirping. The closed in veranda made for enjoying the outdoors without the sand flies. Our fishing boat came to our door for pick up and delivery. The use of the kayaks was a bonus. Would have used the fishing poles provided but they need longer fishing line. We will definitely look at coming back. »

« Excellent place, new,fresh, clean, stylish. Up on stilts so you get a nice breeze. Just as pics appeared. Only real concern is that the driveway is sandy and taxis got stuck repeatedly. Just needs some gravel. Had a little trouble contacting the property manager to work out an early check in but staff were friendly and helpful. »
