'This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. A graduation trip including myself, my husband, and our 3 teenage daughters. I highly recommend the Ezulwini River Lodge for a safari vacation. The staff was fabulous, food and accommodations were 5 star, and the safari drives and animal encounters were amazing. 'We stayed at the cottage and it was absolutely stunning. Plenty of room. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The garden was amazing with our own outdoor fireplace. Even during loadshedding there was still light, water and wifi 😉. And every day we could play with the dogs. The food was really amazing. The chef makes delicious dishes. Host Annie is also the best, she knows what her guests like. You can ask her anything, nothing is impossible. We would definitely go back!'

From beginning to end of the stay everything from staff, accommodation, attention to details, food, game drives, and the sense of community were beyond amazing. 'Shindzela offers the type of safari experience that is sadly dying out, to be replaced by glitzy, costly options that separate visitors from the real bush. Our guide was excellent; calm & professional even when another group was shrieking and whooping (TIP, wild animals prefer quiet). Our tracker was keen-eyed, polite and focussed. The cooking/cleaning staff clearly took pride in their work. I feel Shindzela is excellent value for money and should form a part of many more travellers' trips....
