'The rooms are clean and surprisingly quiet given the hotel’s location on Route 1. Parking is under the building and can be accessed without going outside. Room rates are low compared to other nearby properties. Hotel is in ocean block so walk to the beach is easy.'

'First time visiting Rehobeth Beach and we will absolutely be back! The Henlopen Hotel was perfect! Located on the beach at the end of the boardwalk it was both convenient and quiet! Perfect if you don’t necessarily want to be in the middle of all the action but just steps away when you do! Staff was very friendly, room was clean and had that “beach” feel which is perfect. Took an advantage of the complimentary coffee/tea. Loved the rockers overlooking the beach and our side balcony beach...

'This was decent proximity to the beach, for an older place everything was clean, very helpful staff, the interior of the building has a courtyard which was a little funky and there is only one elevator which took a little time. Staff were busy attending to the building at all times, the garage was a little close but convenient. The suite like setup was also nice (pullout couch area with second tv, small fridge coffee pot and microwave give you more options. Close to beach and shops.'

'I wasn't expecting to be able to check in early. but when we arrived at 12:30 I was told we could head up, despite the 4 pm check in. The room was small and at a quick glance appeared ok. Once we started settling in there were piles of crumbs and dirt around the base of the beds. Hair in the bathroom as well as mouldy wooden towel bar and water stained ceiling tiles over the shower like there had been a previous leak. Whe they remodeled they didn't clean just painted over everything. They don't...

'Staff is very friendly and accomodating. Onsite parking is great! The entire hotel is really clean and the layout is well thought out, they have a lot in a relatively small building. The location was fabulous, rivht in the middle of all the tourist attractions. We definitely enjoyed our stay!'

'a little sandy but definitely typical of a beach property. wonderful size bed, fridge but no microwave. ac worked great and tv could support samsung screenshare. parking was a little funky but not unmanageable. would definitely stay here again!'
