'Small, boutique hotel that had numerous cosy seating areas and lounges. We were upgraded to a suite and had a separate lounge. Just beautiful in every way. Black out shutters, comfy bed, clean bathroom. Host was super friendly and helpful. Restaurant food out rounding and much better than local village. Couldn’t get a more perfect location. Walk down the hill 5 minutes to the village of Sintra and up the hill 5 mins to the Iniation Well and Palace. Cannot fault this place. '

'It’s always a pleasure to return to the Pestana Palace. There is always a warm welcome and the concierge and reception staff are excellent. It’s the beginning of the season so the waiting and room service staff aren’t 100% on top of things yet, but overall it’s still a lovely hotel. '

'This hotel was stunning from the moment we pulled in. The Palace was lovely to walk through, the gardens were beautiful and provided may photo opportunities, and our room was pretty and had a large wardrobe to store all our clothes. I do wish we had a bigger bed as one double bed for two people was quite squishy but that was the only thing I’d change.
