Particuliere vakantiehuizen in Haliburton Highlands naar de Ottawa Valley

'I booked the Old Mill Manor for myself and extended family for a wedding weekend. Julie was a wonderful hostess and the accommodations were lovely. Lilacs happened to be in bloom while we there and she had beautiful bouquets of lilacs which filled the place with their delightful aroma. We ended up ordering meals catered by Gary, prime rib, salmon, and stuffed squash. The meals were delicious and very generous. The bridal suite provided a beautiful setting for our bridal party getting ready...

'This place was even better than the photos. We booked this place for some of our guys doing work in the area and they were super happy with how clean and cozy the place was. The ladies hosting were a dream to deal with, as well. We'll be back in a couple weeks! Highly recommend'

'The place is very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the stay. The only thing is that there's no privacy screen for the washroom window and the washroom is facing the road. Location is good, 30 mins from the Algonquin provincial park West gate and 20 mins from Huntsville. Overall a good experience staying here.'

'Our stay began with several unacceptable issues. We travelled from London, ON, with our children, ages 3 and 1, and arrived around dinner time. For the first several hours, we had no heat or access to the TVs. When I called the number listed on VRBO for assistance, the gentleman who answered stated he no longer worked for the company and abruptly hung up. My husband eventually discovered that breakers in the garage had tripped. The home took hours to warm up, and when I reached someone...

'Great house!'

'What a wonderful stay out this cabin style cottage. The location was perfect for outdoorsy activities and not too far from Ottawa and Gatineau! The space was perfect for a family of 5. The space was well AC during the hot days and the layout was great for playing board games (available at the site) or reading a book! As well, the wildlife was amazing! We saw turkeys, rabbits, foxes and deer. It was a beautiful getaway!'

'The easy access to all the water craft was great. the area was close to public beach and a couple valuable stores for supplies. It was also quiet at night which made sleeping very nice.'

'We arrived at the cottage and there was a strange odour in the room. Then we noticed the furnishings were tattered and the cottage itself was poorly maintained. And though we paid we left after 10 minutes refusing to stay in this inferior cottage. We are now awaiting a refund.'

'Clean and exactly as advertised! Great stay'

'I really enjoyed my getaway night here. The room was like a small apartment, very neat and clean; a few small details could be adjusted, but they were minor and I had great communication with the staff when I needed to find out how to work something. Comfy bed as well, and there’s a beautiful walk right next to the lake, which is only a few steps to get to. I would definitely come again.'
