« Beautiful rustic cabin that faces Madawaska River. Brad (also met his mom) are lovely hosts.Cabin is in the yard (I think) of Brad's family cabin. He told me he'd be on the property the day we checked in. His family did some maintenance but they left the following day. It's very private, which we love.Cabin itself is very well-equipped. Different sizes of frying, soup and sauce pans. Different cooking utensils. Even paper filters for the coffee machine. There's also steak knives, pitchers, shot...

« What a magical cabin! The attention to detail created a serene and lovely experience. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was clean, exceptionally well appointed and we lacked for nothing. The beds were super comfy and I had a wonderful soak in the soaker tub. Haliburton is several minutes away and a really fun town to explore. Would highly recommend! »

« We had a wonderful stay at Skov Cabin. The space is beautiful. The layout allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the kitchen, dining and living room with wrap around windows - such a great experience and incredibly relaxing! Check-in was a breeze. The hosts provide an informative welcome manual prior to check-in. The hosts, Meghan and Dave were readily available during our stay which was greatly appreciated. Skov Cabin would be lovely to stay at regardless of the season. We would stay again and...

« We had an awesome time! The water access is great if you are going kayaking or boarding. But with the little kids, we went over to Diamond Lake Beach and it was quiet and sandy! Will definitely return one day! »

« Beautiful private nature lot on a quiet, small lake with very few cottages. The fishing was great and the host was easy to get ahold of and very helpful. »

« This property is neat and tidy. My family had a great time. A lot of wildlife to see. The solar lights and screened in eating area really made the nights so much better with the fire ban. We could still enjoy the outside and played games. The lake is so clean - we had little fish nibbling our ankles! Too weedy for us for swimming, but we all dipped in! Lounging and looking at the water was really peaceful. No complaints! Super private. Great hosts. »
