Stade, is a city in Lower Saxony in northern Germany. First mentioned in records in 934, it is the seat of the district Landkreis which bears its name. It is located roughly 45km to the west of Hamburg and belongs to that city's wider metropolitan region. Within the area of the city are the urban districts of Bützfleth, Hagen, Haddorf and Wiepenkathen, each of which have a council "Ortsrat" of their own with some autonomous decision-making rights.

Stade is located in the lower regions of the river Elbe. It is also on the German Timber-Frame Road.

« Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, ist sauber und schön eingerichtet. Es fehlt eine bessere Beschriftung am Gebäude und ein Hinweisschild von der großen Straße zum Hotel und Parkplatz. Man kann im Nebengebäude (anderes Hotel) Frühstücken, aber auch hier fehlt die Beschriftung. Ansonsten top!👍Empfehlenswert wenn man digital gut unterwegs ist weil die Buchung und das Einchecken nur digital funktioniert (es gibt kein Personal) »

« Property is managed by Arbio, with no reception, but all information for check-in is sent via email, and we had no problems - their step-by-step check-in procedure was very concise. The property is in a great location for discovering Hamburg - right next to the train line, but with no noise from the trains. There is a supermarket right downstairs, and 2 more within 10 minutes walking. There are also many dining options nearby, but we utilised the excellent kitchen in the apartment. The 3 of us...

« All surround sound by Bluetooth speakers overhanging the ceiling is a cool surprise! Everything is solid and sturdy, the lightings are many, floor size mirror, electricity sockets well positioned right where you need them, the shower works really well. Very helpful staff! Hamburg is a super engineered city with everything well programmed running smoothly and quietly.
