Escape to this Redding 3-Bedroom home with Outdoor Pool and Spa

The mid-century pool bungalow is the ideal space to take in all that Redding has to offer. The home is situated in the heart of town, on a tree-lined street with majestic shade oaks and magnolias offering greenery and a nice shade canopy during the hot summer months. The house is designed as a modern open floor plan with white vaulted beam ceilings and lots of natural light. The home has a cute front yard as well as a private secluded side garden ready to host your family outdoors with soft synthetic turf, an outdoor dining table, and new Weber gas grill. This space connects along the side yard to the rear pool deck which is filled with comfortable seating options. The home comes with a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of comfy furnishings throughout the home. Unfortunately, we don't have a washer/dryer available, so please pack accordingly.

It was an experience

When we first arrived at the home, at night, we were unsure that we were at the right house because there was no address on the house itself. Once we go into the house, unload our bags, from the car, and go to settle in, spiders because a problem which made us leary to set out bags on the floor anywhere and made my daughters afraid to sleep on the pull out couch in the living room. The next morning, we go to the grocery store to grab some things to keep in the house for the weekend to eat, purchase microwaveable popcorn, and get back to the house, and can't find the microwave. It wasn't until our last day at he house that I found it, by accident, in a drawer. Day two, we go in a hike, come back to the house, go to use the hot tub, and it shorts out after 5 minutes literally. Didn't touch it anymore. Figured we'd use the pool instead - pool was dirty with a big spider resting at the bottom. Didn't use the pool for our entire stay. These were main reasons we even chose this house. Not to mention, while we were provided just enough towels to shower with, we weren't given extra towels to even use after we used the hot tub/pool - if we could. Some of the room/bathroom doors didn't lock, which was annoying for my children. Spider/cob webs were everywhere. It wasn't a pleasant experience but we made do.

Funky Mid-century Modern! We loved.

Super cute place! The pool and hot tub were a great feature - especially with this Redding heat. We had fun with the record player was well! It was so cool and a special touch. Everything was overall fairly clean. The towels were so thick and cozy. I loved them! Also the body wash in the shower smelled amazing. I’m not sure what it was but all of us loved it. Recommend putting new batteries in the carbon monoxide monitors.

Great property

Although we were in town for a sad reason, this home was perfect for my team. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was fully set up and we loved the vinyl and record player. Two living spaces allowed enough room for everyone and it was a great experience. The pool was fantastic as was the entire outdoor space. We would love to stay here again!

Upon arriving at the home it was quite clean quite cozy air conditioner was not big enough to cool the whole home master bedroom fan did not work nor was the TV hooked up. Second bedroom from the master bedroom had no electricity at all so no one could stay there. Our kitchen sink was plugged the whole time we were there there's a garbage disposal but nowhere to turn it on. We had to run the dishwasher twice to get our coffee cups clean. No directions in the home what so ever. The light switches are ever where,not many work. The TV in the living room wasn't cable it was fire stick and no directions. We were really looking forward to enjoying the pool in the hot tub I wouldn't have put my foot in the pool it was so dirty and slimy. The hot tub was clean but cold so we couldn't use that either. When we made our reservations it was good until the last week and then they wanted to change us out of the house that we stayed in to someone else's home then it changed back again. So our stay was a little disappointing. Would not stay again.☹️

We enjoyed staying here. Located in a pretty quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room, well furnished with Comfortable beds. Towels were soft and clean. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and operating. Sunny back yard and private covered area where the jacuzzi is. Kitchen had everything we needed and the barbeque was clean and works well. Kieth recommended R&R Meat and Seafood which we really loved. Be sure to grab a numbered ticket before you go in. They have a nice selection of produce also. Close to Safeway also. Close to everything fore that matter. There is a large oak tree that drops leaves and stick in the yard which is cleaned up by the Gardner. So there may be some of that in the side and back yard but it didn't bother us. The outside furniture could have used a sweeping of debris and spiders prior to our visit but that was easy enough to deal with on our own. We would absolutely stay here again and plan to. I would recommend this location for a family.
