'The house and surrounding were very nice. Exactly as described and had some nice touches left by the management company- extra soap, laundry pods, doggie poop bags. The only concerns were that the keypad on the door was temperamental and didn’t work our entire visit (thankfully there was a key in a lockbox so we could get inside when it was cold and raining) and there were several dishes put away dirty. 'My husband and I live in Virginia but have family on China lake. We needed a place to stay for a family get together and we have a large family. The cabin was convenient to other family as well as easy to get to. Great food store near to stock up on goodies for the week. The cabin is clean and roomy. We would recommend it to anyone. J&L'

'Nice apartment with lovely views of Three Mile Pond. Lake access was decent though the paths down are steep. Convenient to shopping in South China and Augusta. The interior was clean and modern. My only complaint was the outdoor floodlight, which could not be switched off by any means we were able to learn about during our stay. When I drive this far from the major cities, I like to enjoy the darkness as much as the quiet. So if you want to see the Milky Way, choose some other Maine vacation...

'Myself and 4 friends booked this home on the water for an annual super bowl ice fishing trip. The house was just as described, spacious and comfortable. The pond is beautiful and the fishing was outstanding, we caught fish all day long. Location is good as well, with plenty of restaurants and downtown Augusta within 10 to 15 minutes. Great home for the price.'

'House had plenty of room for four of us. Extra large bedroom space on second floor along with first floor bedroom. Very clean. Very quiet with dirt road off main road down to the house by the pond. Close enough to Portland, Freeport, and Lewiston to provide options for things tp do. Weather was on the rainy side during our weekend stay but still had an enjoyable relaxing weekend. Hosts Paul and Kevin made arrival and departue easy. Great communication.'

'We attended my niece wedding ay Kings Hill Inn and stayed at this home in Sumner Maine. We were 15 minutes from the venue. Our rental was perfect! Well stocked. We had everything you could possibly need to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommend!!'

'This house was the perfect location to stay for Bates College graduation weekend. The location is close to everything; the setting is perfect; the amenities listed were all at the house. Check-in and Check-out were simple. The request to consolidate garbage in big bags was easy, as there were plenty of the larger size and we were able to put all our garbage in 2 bags. 'Peter and Jane are terrific hosts of a beautiful spot on the lake. We did all the things. We hiked Mt. Blue to the top. We peddled the boat out onto the lake. We watched the sunrise and sunset on the screened in porch. We made fires and roasted marshmallows. We had a terrifically beautiful family vacation at this perfect little cottage on the lake.'

'Rocks cabin really rocks!!! Cabin is super clean, amenities are great. You could find anything you look for. If you are looking for a quiet gateway, look no further. Our dogs loved it so much also, beware of coyotes at night!!!'
