Cabanes à Rapid River

« Most everything is not accurate with the pictures and descriptions on VRBO. It says private beach. There is no beach! It’s all reeds and debris piled up on shore! The deck has several large holes in it. The view of Little Bay Da Noc is blocked by all the under growth. I believe there are 10 windows downstairs of which only 3 open. The fire pit was full which I had to clean out myself. The walkway down to the beach (which doesn’t exist) is very treacherous especially if you have problems walking...

« Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the cabin! It worked perfectly for our family of five. It was clean and had everything we needed. We knew there would not be AC and the upstairs was a bit hot when we arrived, but we just opened all the windows right away and it cooled off...

« Our trip was a mother daughter girl's trip to see do some fall color/site seeing to places my girls hadn't been before. The cabin and property we absolutely perfect for the 3 of us. Adorable, clean, well-stocked with what we needed and with a beautiful view of the lake. The cabin is "open" meaning there are no ceilings on ANY of the rooms so you hear everything from EVERY room (but we're family so we didn't care lol) It's also a bit of an adventure getting to and from the cabin through the...

« We took a winter weekend get-away. This cabin is centered between Eben Cave (a beautiful ice cave that takes some hiking to get to) and Valley Spur (great groomed cross-country ski trails) and Pictured Rock (where we went snow-shoeing). We came back to this nice, cozy, warm cabin each night for dinner. It was so nice to sit by the fireplace- so nice and relaxing. The bed was super comfortable too. It was fun to see all the deer out back of the cabin. We would recommend! »

Some good things to know.It is on a gravel road (although not long) so don't wash your car before hand. Bring toilet paper, shampoo & ice. There are 2 ice trays but we needed more. The closest store is a bit of a drive. We are from Oklahoma so A/C to us means A/C in every room. The only A/C is a window unit in the dining area so that was a bit rough for us Okie's...
