« The house is a block away from the beach park. There is no lake view, but there could be if they trimmed a tree and lowered the fence. The lake and beach are magnificent. Water was warm 1st week of August with tan powder sandbars all over the beach. Lots of space and not too busy. The surrounding area has much poverty, while right on the edge of the marina … food at the lakeside restaurants was just ok. No fresh catch options from the lake on any of the menus…So disappointing. « This is a really nice place. Unfortunately we came right after the basement flooded with the crazy 1000 year storm. It was all dried out and ready for carpet to go back in. But the fans were still going and it wasn't ready yet. But i won't hold that against them. They gave me a credit and i'm sure it will be back to normal shortly. I would definitely stay again. « We stayed here for Summerfest and it worked out great! It was a 40 min walk but Uber was also available! It was just what we needed. Communication with the host was quick and professional. We had questions upon checking in and we were able to contact the host immediately with a response. If you are concerned about street noise at night this may not be the place for you. Brady Street is very close and brings lots of noise at night. This may not always be the case but it definitely was for...
