Explore the unique topography of the mountain by hiking on recreational trails that are accessible year-round, discovering a natural paradise with every step.

***If you plan to visit our home during the winter season (from November 1st to April 15th), please note that you must have a vehicle with all-wheel drive transmission (AWD, 4x4) and winter tires to access the property. A shuttle service is also available—please contact the host for more information!

The Topaz clings to the mountainside, revealing a breathtaking panorama. The master bedroom, located on the first floor, features a king-size bed offering an unobstructed view. The large windows allow you to admire the beauty of the landscape in every season from the comfort of your bed. A comfortable sofa bed on the second floor can accommodate two additional guests, bringing the total capacity of the house to four. All windows are equipped with solar shades for your comfort and privacy. Enjoy optimal comfort year-round with heated floors throughout the house, a heat pump system providing both air conditioning and heating, as well as a gas stove ensuring a cozy warmth even on the coldest winter days. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern amenities you could desire: refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, Nespresso coffee machine, and a complete set of cookware for preparing delicious meals at home. Outdoor amenities such as the hot tub, barbecue, and gas fireplace are operational year-round, allowing you to fully enjoy the outdoor terraces.

Just twelve minutes away, discover a high-end supermarket, a bakery offering fresh morning croissants and specialty breads, as well as a selection of local restaurants to satisfy all your culinary cravings.

Only 25 minutes north of Quebec City, Lac-Beauport stands out as a favored destination for outdoor enthusiasts, offering world-renowned recreational activities. Whether it's ice skating on the lake, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, hiking, or mountain biking on some of the most beautiful trails in the world, the possibilities are endless! The TOPAZ, nestled in the heart of the private Maelstrom estate, embodies the pinnacle of outdoor experiences in Lac-Beauport. The Maelstrom is a vast private area dedicated to accommodation and leisure, offering a unique combination of on-site activities and exceptional accommodations for memorable experiences. 

The house is located in the mountains (elevation 550 meters) and can be accessed via a private 3-kilometer road. To get there, you must have a car or book a shuttle service directly with us. From April 15th to November 1st, any type of car is suitable for accessing the property.

TAXI and UBER Due to the remote location of the house, it is not advisable to rely on taxi or Uber services for transportation. These services are rare in the area, so it may be difficult or impossible to find transportation and you may have difficulty leaving the house. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding transportation.

SHUTTLE SERVICE: We are delighted to offer a convenient shuttle service to our guests during the winter season! To use this service, please go to 99 Chemin du Moulin, Lac-Beauport, Quebec, where we have reserved free overnight parking spaces for you to leave your vehicle safely during your stay. This location is also our pick-up point for the shuttle. To ensure a smooth experience, simply let us know your expected arrival time, and we will add you to the shuttle schedule. The shuttle service is available at a rate of 50 CAD per one-way trip, or 100 CAD for a round-trip to and from the house. We look forward to assisting you with your transportation needs!
