We have been sailing along the coast of Albania for the past couple of weeks. What a great country and the people are wonderful. As Americans it's nice to be somewhere the people like the USA and really appreciate the help Nato gave them. The country is not really set up for private boats yet. There is only one marina in the country and all the other stops have been in major ports. But that's OK with us....we enjoy places that are not often visited by boat. The mountains and lakes in the northeast are fantastic and really worth the visit! Photo taken with my Phantom 2+ drone.

We spent the last evening of our Albanian road trip adventure in the city of Kruje. Not only were we super lucky with the accommodation (make sure to check out Panorama Hotel - awesome value for money) but we were also rewarded with epic sunset. If you climb up to the old tower, the views are breathtaking. #albania #kruje #skanderberg #sunset #architecture #goldenhour
