'We loved our stay at the Wyndham Grand. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. We had an early flight so they prepared a takeaway breakfast for us. The breakfast choices are great with good variety. Location is ideal, beach facing, near the large city centre mall. We walked to the mall which takes around 5-7 mins. 'Nice located hotel, nearby the beach and various restaurants and has a gym with seaview. The rooms are not too big and not very soundproof, that is a minus. The breakfast buffet is extensive. It is sad and a shame to see guests overloading their plates and eating only a part. Maybe the hotel can charge a fee for not eating all the food, against unnecessary waste.'

'It was an alright hotel with a few nasty surprises/quirks: wifi was only free in the lobby and costs 50 QAR (13 Euro) per 24 hours in the rooms where one would of course usually use the internet. Then there is the swimming pool. Just when finished all work wanting to relax and enjoy the pool in the last daylight, it turns out to be ladies time.
