"The studio apartment was perfect for our short stay in the area. It was well appointed and so quiet. It was a short drive to Hobbiton for our tour and felt like we were already in the shire. "We weren't quite sure what to expect, as we are not normally into the glamping style of accommodation. But we loved every bit of what this place had to offer. Peaceful, no TV, surrounded by nature, over looking lake, fishing rod, kayaks, BBQ, selection of fresh produce on arrival, no neighbours anywhere close, what more could you want for serious downtime. "We loved this B and B. They had thought of everything….hairdryer, hot plates, pepper and salt, oil etc. very quiet and comfortable. Very new and modern inside with lovely linens on the beds. "We ended up leaving. It stunk there was moldy food in top of oven. No smoke alarms. We were actually disgusted. Windows were dirty. We didnt want to make a scene so said we had to leave for family matters. Would not recommend this place infact no smoke alarms is a major health and safety breech. Never be back."
