Everything was excellent. Best resort I have been to yet. Jimmy Sosa ( our butler) and Marcela Cuevas (our check in receptionist) were awesome. They made everything smooth and enjoyable. Our vacation was perfect. It could not have been any better. This is our new favorite vacation spot. Thank you Lopesan!!

SALMONELLA HOSPITALIZES TWO TODDLERS I cannot urge you enough for the safety of your children to NEVER come to this resort. Both my child, and the other child we traveled with were hospitalized in the Dominican Republic (during this hospitalization we encountered other guests there with their children), and again hospitalized upon arrival home. My child is currently admitted to the hospital with severe salmonella receiving an antibiotic via IV. Her fever while at the resort was almost 104. It is confirmed by multiple physicians this outbreak was caused by the food prepared or dirty pool water by the Lopesan. I understand it’s easy to look past a bad review when you feel like you have found the resort of your choice, but for the safety of your children I urge you to choose another resort. We reported this to the Lopesan and they didn’t even respond or care. To think if I only chose a different resort I wouldn’t be sitting in a hospital bed with my child as I write this review… I would do anything to go back. I will be posting reviews on all platforms in hopes it saves even one child from this terrible illness.

We stayed at this hotel for a friend's wedding and left appalled by the nightmare we experienced and completely heart broken for the newlyweds. Within 48 hours of arrival, half of the guests in our group fell ill with salmonella (confirmed once they returned home), including the groom who spent several days on an IV fluids and meds in his room. He eventually gathered the energy to walk down the aisle and say "I do" only to be rushed to the hospital by ambulance before the reception began. The guests that were poisoned by the resort's food were charged a gross amount of money for medical care by the onsite "clinic". All of this is not to mention the hazardous conditions that developed throughout the property after a regular summer rain storm. There were roof and window leaks throughout the common areas and guest rooms, waterfalls in the elevators, and ankle deep flooding from the lobby to the pool areas. The pools turned into muddy swamps. The flooded lobby which was full of guests waiting to be moved to dry rooms, reeked of sewage. To top it off, the service and attention at the bars and restaurants left plenty to be desired. Bride & groom left devastated and with no apologies or remediation offered by Lopesan. Avoid this place like the plague!

Could be a 5* .... But sadly the room are VERY humid ...the air conditioning system doest work properly .... The resort is stunning.... Cons.. Rooms, beach area, pool areas were all amazing. The resort is so big that no area ever felt crowded. Staff was always welcoming and quick to help with anything we wanted or needed. The only thing I felt was not amazing was the food. There were plenty of options but none that I thought were very good. But, I think that is pretty typical when staying at an all inclusive. It would not stop me from staying there again though.

Had a good time with my wife and daughter. The property is very family oriented which is what we were looking for. Everything was very clean and organized. We had booked a unique experience room which was worth definitely the extra cost however, when we checked in they told us that with our unique package we had a butler at our disposal during your stay. I was told he was going to contact us via WhatsApp but it never happened. I brought this up during our check out and the staff didn’t seem to care. We really did not need a butler but if I am paying for a certain experience, I expect to have all the services promised. It is better not to give false information or remove that from the package if it is not going to be respected. I would definitely give 5 stars if it wasn’t for this episode at check out.

Booked a Unique level queen ocean view room. View of the ocean and property was excellent. Jimmy our butler was amazing. Anything I requested from extra bottles of water and towels to the room he immediately took care of. He also took care of scheduling transportation to the airport for us. Book Unique level and request him for your butler, you won’t be disappointed. Resort is huge, bring your walking shoes. Would not hesitate to return to this hotel again. It is beautiful!

The resort is beautiful! Hotel is huge so yes alot of walking around. For me the food wasn't anything special. I stayed at the unique section and was assigned a butler ( Wendy Guerrero ) the best 👍👍👍 he was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall we had an amazing stay at Lopesan.

It was a very nice property. I wasn't able to contact my "butler" the entire trip, which would have made it go more smoothly. Housekeeping was very clean but they failed to provide towels and coffee supplies. We had to flag them down or leave notes for them.

Amazing property fantastic beach. The food was good it was just unfortunate. We could not get reservations at a few of the places, and unfortunately the ones that we could get reservations at we could not get them until late at night. The buffets were very hit or miss. It was a gorgeous property nice rooms some of the downside to the rooms were only one of the outlets walked in the whole room. The odor of must was so bad and unfortunately, our cleaning staff never came in until late at night. They never knocked and just entered most of the time we were napping, or getting into the shower, and they never waited to hear an answer. There is no door hangers to put on to tell staff to not enter.

Property itself beautiful. Beautiful beach (only small negative were the boats). Main pool beautiful but no swim up bar and water a little a cold for my liking. Also unique and adults only pool we’re too small really not worth it. Food was generally really good. Steakhouse and the unique grill by the beach was amazing. What I didn’t like was the breakfast buffet and American valley food. Drinks were generally pretty good. Service was hit or miss. Butler was amazing (did pretty much whatever we asked including booking our ride to the airport, suprise champagne for my birthday, and a bottle of red and white on our request. Check in sucked didn’t give us our welcome drinks and generally the servers are few and far between at the beach and pool. Overall great resort but could use improvement in certain areas

The Property was just stunning…the service was one of a kind, to include exceptional nightlife activities that are just unique, and classy. Live shows were spectacular. Truly amazing place to vacation.
