Mer à première vue. Mar de Pulpi est une extraordinaire villa en front de mer située à San Juan de los Terreros, Almeria. Le complexe est situé directement sur une belle plage de sable avec seulement un sentier de marche et de vélo entre les deux pour encourager la routine d'exercice du matin. Les mordus d'histoire seront intrigués par le château construit en 1764 situé à une courte distance du complexe. La piscine et le jacuzzi sont à quelques pas, sûr d'être rafraîchissant sous le soleil chaud qui brille 300 jours par an. Une vue imprenable pendant que vous savourez votre café du matin depuis le patio carrelé espagnol encouragera tous ceux qui s'aventurent à visiter cet endroit exceptionnel à revenir régulièrement. La villa dispose de 3 chambres et 3 salles de bains dont une double au rez-de-chaussée. Le solarium sur le toit offre non seulement une vue imprenable sur l'océan, mais aussi une douche rafraîchissante après un après-midi revigorant de lecture et de détente. Il y a aussi un barbecue en pierre pour ce repas de midi ou du soir.

Séjour agréable
Le logement correspondait à ce que nous avions prévu. Séjour agréable et bonnes prestations en général. Quelques détails à améliorer cependant : - Une fois arrivés dans le lotissement, les indications pour trouver le logement sont insuffisantes et la personne de contact n'a pas répondu. - La climatisation est difficile à régler pour obtenir une température adéquate. - Il n'y pas de placard disponible pour stocker la nourriture.

Beautiful ocean front villa
Superb. By far the best equipped property I have rented (and I have rented a lot). There was nothing we wanted that wasn't there. There are 4 restaurants in the immediate vicinity (we tried 3 which were all very good) with more in San Juan de los Terreros a 45 minute walk away (or an hour or more in 30+ degrees heat!!). The nearest complex pool is only yards away and, as with the villa and the complex grounds is immaculate

Expectations are surpassed! Reality is fantastic! We stayed in a typical Spanish Tower House, situated near the sea in a beautiful landscaped and peaceful complex Mar de Pulpi with an amazing view at the Mediterranean Sea. The House has all the comfort, is luxurious and very clean. Sports activities, swimming pools and sea, great restaurants, all within short walking distance. In short: It is a must to be here! Beautiful villa in lovely part of unspoilt Spain - perfect for families!
The villa is lovely, exactly as advertised and photographed. The communal swimming pools are great and seldomly busy. It's a very relaxing, clean and well maintained complex. The area itself is brilliantly unspoilt or touristy. Playa Carolina is gorgeous. Perfect for families as the water is clear and shallow. There is some great snorkelling too but Chiriniguito Concedores was a real find. It's an amazing place to have a long lazy lunch and incredibly good value for money. Otherwise we loved Canal Nautico and the local complex cafe/restaurant is excellent. The complex chiringuito is pretty good too. Food wise you are spoilt for choice actually. The little extras the villa offers like the beach equipment and snorkels etc is a super lovely and thoughtful touch. We really really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend for those looking for some real Spanish flavour and not a holiday in Benidorm. You won't regret it.

Great Spot to Spend the Winter
This property is basically right on the water. The only things separating it from the Mediterranean is some nice landscaping and a dirt road to the local bistro/cafe. My wife and I spent three months at this property and at the begining of our stay, in January, we were virtually alone in the complex. The owner and her property managers were responsive to all our needs and questions. The weather was cooperative and we managed to play golf at two local courses twice a week. The location was great to get to Granada, Gibraltar and Barcelona, which is the furthest drive away at about 7 hours. There are four pool area in the complex and one of them was heated during our entire stay. I have no hesitation in recommedning this property.

Stunning Villa in a superb location
We are a family of 5, myself, wife and our 3 boys aged 4, 8 and 13. This was our first time away from package holidays so we weren't too sure what to expect planning our own holiday. I have to say that we had our concerns after reading the horror stories people have had booking villas and being ripped off, so we approached the whole process with extreme caution. That said the booking experience through Home Away and the payment protection set our minds at ease, this coupled with Peggy's prompt replies and information provided to our numerous emails really took away any doubts and concerns. The villa itself is absolutely stunning and the views over the seafront were breathtaking everyday. We were all very comfortable in the villa with the boys having enough entertainment through the various games and TV available to keep them occupied when needed. You can find everything in the villa to make it a home from home, the kitchen well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils, the bathrooms stocked up with toilet rolls and towels. The beds were comfortable for all of us, even though my wife and I suffer with bad backs, we found ourselves comfortable with no aches or pains from our bed. The communal pool was brilliant and on most days we had it pretty much to ourselves, the kids really enjoyed it! We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of equipment in the storage room in the garage, it meant the kids had plenty of extra fun on our the beach trips. And on that topic, boy you really are spoiled for choice when it comes to the beaches. Plenty of stunning soft sand beaches with clear water within a short drive from the villa. The beach front on the complex was fine if you didn't want to drive anywhere but is a bit pebbly with some rocks in the waterline so beach shoes essential here. The restaurants on the complex were fine although a bit pricey, you're much better off venturing away for dining out. Meson Papa in San Juan is a must visit, great food although can get busy in the daytime very quickly. Pimento in Aguilas has some great tapas at ridiculously cheap prices. We took the kids to the water park in Vera which is reasonably priced and although not a huge park was still a great day out for everyone. We really enjoyed our 1st venture away from package holidays, the villa was perfect for us with the only real gripe being the chimenea BBQ not set up for charcoal but had a broken electric BBQ instead, easily solved with a disposable BBQ from Aldi!

Wonderful
As a family of five with three children aged between 8 and 19 we had a wonderful time with lots to keep everyone happy. The apartment is exactly as it appears in the pictures however the overall complex is even better than we thought. Nice restaurants, bike hire, amazing pools etc were all great and the beachfront walks are a joy. There are lots of lovely places to visit in the area by car. We sampled a few and really enjoyed them but it was always a wrench to leave and a joy to come back to the Mar de Pulpi development which probably says it all! Cant recommend highly enough.

Lovely villa overlooking the sea in a quiet and relaxing area of Spain
The three bedroom villa was absolutely lovely with everything taken care of for a great holiday. The description of the property is accurate and you do not need to take anything extra to enjoy your stay. There are two pools which are accessible with one opening on the 1st June which was at the end of our holiday, but this did not make too much difference to us as it was a quiet time and the pool was never too busy. The restaurants in the immediate area were excellent but you do need to know a little Spanish as the waiters we found were not English speaking. This is just a comment to advise other visitors as the service and food were great. I would also recommend that a car would be an advantage if you wanted to see more than the immediate area as I did not see any buses. You can walk into San Juan de los terros from the villa but the paved footpath does not continue all the way and you have to deviate onto the road but it was ok. Overall a wonderful villa overlooking the sea, in a quite mostly Spanish area for a relaxing holiday.
