'The area where this Inn is located, is not so desirable in Thunder Bay. I think it's over rated on line1 or 2 Stars at best NOT a 3 Star. Given the location in Thunder Bay and the overall look of the building and clientele in the area it did not feel like a safe place. There were concerns about the security of the car only 20 meters away from our room in front of the Inn and for the cleanliness of the room. I do not recommend this Inn/Hotel'

'Waited over 2 hours for our room to be ready. Bright light shining under and around the door all night. One thin blanket that didn’t even reach my shoulders. Paint peeling. Bathtub and sink chipped. Carpet was gross.'

'The room was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and the location was great.'

'I usually prefer Hampton hotels. The breakfast is decent, the beds are comfortable and they are well maintained. This location was no different. We stayed here while passing through on a long road trip. The hotel was shockingly overpriced on the way back for some reason so we stayed elsewhere. It is a short drive to the waterfront area which was a great place to go for a walk with our dog after so many hours in the car'

'Spacious rooms but noisy. Airco does it's work but sounds like a F-16 engine. Kingsize and room with queens: both very hard matras. Staff friendly and helpfull (as your bathroom door is (b)locked from the outside ... and forgood diner suggestions). Continental breakfast good. '

'The air conditioning didn't work in our room. They knew about it before we checked in and didn't tell us. When we tried to open the windows, the screens were broken off and not replaced.'

'Positives: The room was clean. Housekeeping didn't clean out the fridge so there were 4 beers waiting for me when I arrived. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was good. Negatives (in chronological order): There was a dude in the parking lot going through the dumpster for "empties". There is almost no parking. Much less spots than a hotel of this size would need. The night auditor checking us in didn't seem to know what he was doing. The shower in the room couldn't hold itself...

'Staff were great, room was clean and the breakfast is generally the best of the hotels that I have tried in Thunder Bay. I never hesitate to stay here.'

'Be careful on pool times!! They have very wonky times that it is open. We also booked a poolside room and we were facing the laundry, for the price it was not worth it. Overall area with kids wasn’t very comfortable.'
