Pensions in Ponta Delgada

'One of the main attractions was that there was “street parking” available, however once we got to the property there isn’t any. The closest parking was a 6 minute walk away which is not what was advertised. The other main issue for me was the bathroom shower. There was a tiny piece of glass, but the shower head shot out farther than what the glass covered. So every time someone showered, the bathroom was flooded. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable, you could feel every spring in the...

'Nice and stylish rooms. Very friendly staff. Cosy place to stay overall. '

'Andrea was very helpful as she allowed us to do an early check in, explained about local things to do. Breakfast was OK. Jacuzzi, pool operative but not whirlpool.'

'My sister and I, two 70+ y/o US travelers found The Rock to be a well located, clean, and quiet guest house. Rebeca was easy to contact and very helpful. Staff member Grace was delightful. Breakfast each day was quite good. We would certainly recommend The Rock to others.'

We also really appreciated the amenities, especially the well-equipped common kitchen, which was clean, organized and very convenient. Overall, it was a comfortable, welcoming and very enjoyable place to stay. Excellent value and a great...
