'Room was clean and a good size. It was missing a bathroom fan which was odd. The staff were fantastic! Helpful, welcoming and kind. Case in point, I mentioned it was my wife’s birthday while we were here and they brought her a tray of chocolate covered strawberries with some Perrier water and 2 complimentary drinks at the hotel bar. 'Close to interesting boardwalk along harbour in Halifax and right in the lower part of the center with many restaurants nearby. This means also that you have to walk uphill in many cases. Hotel is somewhat dated and internetreception was less than expected. Friendly personnel. '

'If you like college dorms then this is the place for you. If you are partial to hostels then this is the place for you. Our door code to get into the building didn’t work. Thankfully the email app worked to open the front door. The air conditioning was so loud we had to shut it off. The wobbly coffee table in our unit was close to falling apart. The loud noise and parties in the building took me back to my university days.'

'Hotel is very dated. Our original room has a couch with a big stain on it. The young lady at the desk was very helpful and changed our room. 2nd room again was very very dated. Headboard had alot of dust on it. Couch and chairs old. Property definitely could use some new furniture and updating.'

'The room was massive, even bigger than the picture made us think. Great waterpressure in the shower and nice beds. The location is near several highways and it offers easy access to both the city as wel as Peggy's Cove. Nice pool and good breakfast as well. Only downside was that housekeeping on our floor was only at the end of the afternoon (around 4 pm) which can be a bit late when traveling with a young child.'
