'Wir waren begeistert und werden wiederkommen! Die Chatham Bay ist eine ca. 2km lange Bucht auf der windgeschützten Seite von Union Island. Die Anreise ist nur per Fähre und dann per Wassertaxi (ca. 20 min) möglich. Oder als Segler. Es gibt keine regelmäßigen Flüge nach Union Island. Die Bucht hat durchgehenden Sandstrand, der nach ca. 10m über eine kleinere Felskante in tieferes Wasser übergeht. Durch diese Felskante ist die gesamte Bucht ein Schnorchelparadies. 'We were lucky enough to spend 3 days in this peaceful paradise. The apartment is situated on the hills overlooking Tyrell Bay and is in walking distance to several restaurants. 'Moira was a good communicator through WhatsApp. The sunsets were stunning and you could see the sail boats at Sandy Island. Mid day gets hot with no AC so we went to the beach and did exploring in the afternoons. Sleeping was comfortable enough under the ceiling fan.'
