'Room (2bdrm) was very nice and spacious with a full size jacuzzi on a large balcony. They had a really nice charcuterie board and good bottle of wine waiting when we arrived! Restaurant downstairs was pretty good, highlight was the ice cream which was amazing. It has an ocean view but it’s not oceanfront, probably the only downside we found. But great for families based on the size of the room. Would return.'

'One of the most beautiful properties we’ve been to! Pricing is a little extra extravagant, but you get what you pay for! The recreation center at the beach is a blast, food was delicious, staff is exceptional, and even the yoga classes were great! Highly recommend the sea-bobs, snorkeling, and paddle boarding. Fernando @recreation and Milena our concierge were outstanding!!'

'If you want to listen to a dog barking day and night this is the place for you . We barely checked in and asked about the neighbors dog and were told they would move us but then ghosted us. There are permanent tenants in the adjoining apt that have dogs and they are allowed to bark without any repercussions. This is not a relaxing property at all. 'Food and service way over the top! This resort exceeded all expectations, we couldnt believe how excellent the food was, the breakfast buffet is incredible, made to order omelets and everything in between! Pool bar and poolside service was stellar, you sit down in the pool area and a server immediately comes up to you and brings you anything you want and its all excellent! All of the restaurants have different offerings and each one is better than the last! You walk out of your ocean view suite...

'Great spot. Amazing views and very nice accommodations. Only issue is they blasted music 8pm -2am on a Saturday and no one would sleep. Wayyyy too late and too loud!! Unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. '

'First night A/C (room 2106B) did not work. Second night moved to another room (2403B) with loud noises from in-suite refrigerator and / or pipes. No sleep. Staff is nice. Property is “tired” and needs refurbishment. Restaurant food is notably low quality with no love or flair. We were served raw dough churros and told only after we sent them back their fryer was too hot to make them. '

'The rooms and food were great. The service was very ok. At Comal the food was very slow and they never checked in for drink orders or to fill waters. Not a great experience for a 300 dollar dinner. Same thing at breakfast. The pool service didn’t clear chairs when people left. The service got better towards the end but overall was disappointing for the price. One and only or las Ventanas are much better places to stay. '

'Took a minute to figure out how to get the power to come on in room, there is a card reader that you have to insert your room key into in order to have power. AC was weak but we were there in March, would have been very uncomfortable in July/Aug. Pool was great, breakfast was good. Fresh fruit, chilaquiles, cereal yogurt. Overall very good would stay again. '
