« Fun, nicely designed, comfortable place to stay. We loved the combination of these modernist homes, the RV park and trailer homes all in one place. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants and walking on the bike paths to downtown Truckee. These are a bit on the expensive side, but worth a few days. The landscaping they are working on is going to be nice when it fills out. We would stay here again. »

« We loved this place and regretted that we were only here one night. Our room was quite small, which was fine for a night, but I would get a larger room next time The property backs up to Camp Richardson, so it was very quiet. I loved taking out a bike to ride the bike trail through the area. The owners are great, very accommodating. This place is a work of love and it shows. »

« This property is exactly as described. Very family friendly, pet friendly. Unfortunately the people before us left a bit of a mess with trash and dog feces, but overall the stay was wonderful and we enjoyed our time there!! »

« Beautiful lodge above a garage, private, nice and quiet. Our host, Carolyn, was very welcoming and answered any and all questions. She provided great suggestions for hiking that we checked out and found them all to be wonderful. The location is close to all the places we visited, so it was perfect on top of being spacious, comfortable and clean. Thank you Carolyn for sharing your place with us! »

« This little cabin was in an ideal getaway spot close to hiking trails and perfectly situated in the mountains. Be aware that it is a mountain cabin. Everything works, and everything is clean, but it is a rustic. Specifically, there are tricks to getting a hot shower, but don't give up the water heater does work. They just did a whole bunch of improvements, and it made the cabin very comfortable. This is a mountain gem, and I couldn't recommend it more. »

« Property was just as shown, typical traditional Tahoe style cabin!! Bathrooms were modern and updated. Loved that each room had a tv also! Comfortable king bed, nice living room set up! The master does get a little cold, but extra space heaters are provided and really helped! We loved our stay! »

« Right across the street from the lake with gorgeous views from the kitchen table -- we fell in love with Donner Lake! The cabin was comfortable, but rustic as you'd expect for a mountain lake cabin (eg some damage to floors, janky interior doors, kitchen table wobbly). Dealing with Vacasa as a renter instead of an actual owner is always less personal and more commericalized ... eg they were happy to offer late check out, if we paid an additional fee$$ But overall we loved the location, there...
