« My niece and i live 5 hours apart so we decided to meet halfway in Mentone to visit before she moved to Maryland. Easy directions, great location, short distance to Mentone and Desoto State Park. « This was the perfect place for us and our 3 teenagers. I loved how the master bedroom was on the main floor and the other rooms were upstairs. The rooms were spacious and the lay out of the kitchen and living room was perfect. The kitchen had every utensil you needed and the coffee station was in its own little nook. « We had a lovely experience at the Great Escape! The home was lovely, quaint, and cozy. It was clean and had everything you need to enjoy your stay. Kitchen was fully equipped with a wide variety of cooking utensils and equipment. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed using the fire pit and hammock.
