Great room wall-of-windows captures the amazing mountain & forest views of the Tonto Nat'l Forest & Majestic Mogollon Rim. Offering Brazilian marble countertops, hickory flooring & cabinets thru-out, upgraded Viking Pro/Wolf/SubZero appliances in gourmet kitchen with wine refrigerator, and beautiful native stone fireplaces. Main level Master Retreat with luxurious ensuite bath with heated floor, jetted tub & custom closet. Lower level features inviting family room with TV, Ping Pong table, fireplace, office area. The house is beautiful but the cleaning and items listed on sight are two different things. People selling property and tired to take care of items missing or not available. But they tried. Wouldn’t stay there again

Beautiful retreat

Great location, close to town but back in away where you feel like you are living in the forest. Beautiful views from the wrap around deck and great stargazing from the jacuzzi. Kitchen blender did not work and the PM had to bring a new coffee maker as two of them did not work. Had some trouble finding what I needed in kitchen, but overall was able to make some fabulous meals! Would recommend staying here, hiking right out your door!

Gorgeous Retreat

This home is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. It is beautifully furnished and the view from the patio is stunning. The kitchen is very well stocked with cookware and the appliances are top notch. We had such a relaxing few days at this amazing place.

Wedding retreat

Beautiful home in a great location. We were there for my daughter's wedding in nearby Strawberry. The house is very large and plenty of room two families. It is fully stocked with everything that you may need. The owner was very accomodating as she allowed us to have a photo shoot at the house prior to the wedding. It worked out great and got plenty of beautiful pictures.

Relax and Recharge

For spring break this year, our teenagers picked snow in the mountains over warm weather in southern Arizona. They wanted to stay at this house based on how beautiful it was in the photos. I can't believe it, but it's more incredible in person! Private, quiet, well stocked and stunning. I felt at home and pampered. It snowed a few days when we were there and even though it's the same weather we left in MN, it was breathtaking in a way I can't do justice to with my words. My family fell in love with the house and the community. Both kids said they want to move there and I'm pretty sure them meant it. For a 16- and 14-year-old, that's high praise! If we make it back to the area, I wouldn't even consider another house. This one is everything we look for in a VRBO and surpassed my (admittedly) high standards. This home delivered everything I needed and gave my whole family a connection to nature we didn't realize that we were missing. Thank you for everything!

This place was a wonderful getaway for us. Beautiful scenery and very quiet neighborhood. The house was equipped with everything we needed for a peaceful week stay. The host was very helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely be back for another getaway in the near future.

Vacation in Pine with friends and lots of Elk

The property is as advertised. The home is beautiful and well maintained. We relaxed on the deck watching Elk and viewing the stars at night. A great home base for area adventures and a warm place to return to after a long day out. Hope we get a chance to return with our friends.

Great cabin getaway

Beautiful property and great location. Very short drive into town or to the national forest. Lots of space to relax with family and watch the wildlife. Our favorite spot was out on the deck listening to the wind in the trees.

Could not have been more perfect

While not obvious in the photos, this house is in a neighborhood, but once you’re in the house, you wouldn’t know this. It’s incredibly private and quiet. It’s beautifully decorated. Fully stocked with paper goods, etc. we needed nothing except food. The rooms are spacious and nicely laid out. Beds and furniture are super comfy (especially the basement couch, so I’m told by the young folks who had their down day sprawled all over the couches). We spend most of time outdoors and the porch is set up with so many choices .. covered dining, lounging, fireside sitting. They thought of every situation. In September , evenings were cool and the multiple screen doors created good air flow. A herd of elk greeted us every morning just over the railings. We all loved this house as a gathering place. Oh, and the owners were gracious and responsive when I had an issue to communicate.

Beautiful Pine Getaway

This is the second time staying here. It is a beautiful home with room for everyone. We had 5 adults and 2 kids. There are games to play and the popular ping pong table. We enjoy the beautiful deck complete with grill. We enjoyed most of our time outside on the covered deck where we could view elk close up. We also enjoyed cooking in the chef’s kitchen. A really great time. Easy to communicate with the hosts as well. I am sure we will return.

Exceptional Home!

Everything about our vacation was Grand! This beautiful home is well equipped and has everything you need. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife right off the deck everyday, we even had some elk venture up in the driveway. If you love hummingbirds, they are everywhere too. Everything was easy from check in to check out! We will be back and we can’t wait!

Worth the investment

We had a great time at this property. My husband and I stayed with our two kids ages 7 and 9. The bottom portion of the house is pretty much set up to accommodate kids or young adults. Ping pong, bunk beds, separate bathrooms and a big social area were a godsend for a couple of parents looks for some time alone. We saw a ton of wildlife and enjoyed the ability to come and go as we wanted. Home is easy to get to and access. We really enjoyed our time. The ONLY criticism I have is the top level had some cigarette smell. I honestly think it is coming from the wood because the smell was strongest near wooden cabinets and built ins. My husband and kids DID NOT smell it but I did. Not a deal breaker but we did use the candles alot. Overall I gave the property five starts because other than the odor that only I could smell, everything else was fantastic!

This house is beautiful and has everything you need.

This house is beautiful and is in the perfect location! There are trails outside the backdoor. Spa is nice for unwinding in the evening. Plenty to do for the entire family. Perfect vacation spot!

Heavenly retreat!

Staying at the house was like having our private dream resort. We especially enjoyed the beautiful deck, with a lovely fire pit and a great BBQ grill. I am a published cookbook author, so I rather stay home and create food than go out to eat. The kitchen was like a dream and we made gourmet meals every day, that we enjoyed in the most perfect setting. Easy hikes straight out of the back patio were also available and every night we loved watching the stars from the hot tub. The only small nuisance was pine pollen season, luckily none of us was allergic and aside from lots of pollen dust there was no problem from that. Cynthia was a great host, very easy to communicate with. We LOVED this location and would strongly recommend staying here.

Wonderful!!!! Beautiful views!!!

This was such a wonderful property to stay at! The deck with the comfortable seating looking out over the beautiful views were the highlight for us. We sat for hours reading and talking and taking in the scenery and cool weather. The kitchen was well stocked with high end appliances and everything kitchen related to make some wonderful meals. We enjoyed our meals at the tables outside on the deck. The hot tub is a great addition as well. The property is in a great neighborhood that is quiet and well taken care of. Pine is a beautiful and quiet little town and that’s what we were looking for. Payson was an easy 20 minutes South. We enjoyed our long weekend so much and can’t wait to go back! Thank you Cynthia and George!! We will be back!
