We booked this stay simply for a comfortable night’s sleep, with a late check-in and early checkout after a long road trip, but unfortunately, it did not meet even that basic expectation.
The entrance was poorly lit, which made arriving at night inconvenient and slightly unsafe. Carrying luggage up the steep stairs was also quite challenging. Inside the room, the AC control panel was locked, so we had no way to adjust the temperature to a comfortable level.
The room itself had virtually no natural light, making it feel quite closed in. The biggest issue, however, was the sleeping arrangement. The bed provided for the third person was not even a pull-out sofa, but just a tiny hard futon. It was extremely uncomfortable, small, hard and uneven for an adult to sleep on, even after we laid it flat. It was certainly not worth the additional charge, which came as a surprise and was added a day after the reservation was made. Had I known earlier, I could have booked a comfortable hotel room in that money without the hassle of cleaning and tidying the place behind us. Even the main bed had a foam mattress that lacked the comfort of a standard mattress. This place is certainly not what’s advertised.
Overall, the primary purpose of our stay was to get a good night’s rest, but unfortunately, none of us were able to sleep comfortably. This was quite disappointing, especially after a long day of travel.
