Trash in the backyard, Pool was dirty, patio area had random paint stains on the ground, carpet old and stained. If you are trying to do photos for anything the place is just way dirtier than advertised, would not recommend this place until that is improved.

We did enjoy our stay, just a few things that need some work. The only reason I gave a 4 rating is because every time we messaged the host, we got a message back saying please contact the host directly at this number. And sometimes a few minutes later I would get another response trying to answer our inquiry. I’ve asked how to turn the AC on in the gameroom(garage)and I never did get a response??I’m assuming that it’s a corporate owned VRBO and not an actual person that owns this. It’s very impersonal and takes more time to get answers. We’ve stayed in 12 different VRBOs in 6 different states and we’ve never had communication problems. It would be nice to have an information book at the house with general info. We didn’t find the game room until later, and the Wi-Fi info was in there. Didn’t get any checkout info until I messaged the host at 11:30pm the night before check out for instructions. This house is in a great location, anything you need is close. The beds were so comfy and love that there is shampoo&conditioner in the showers. The neighborhood is quiet. The backyard is very private we enjoyed having coffee in the am in the backyard and enjoyed the pool area and the lights in the back are great for enjoying a drink at night. They had all the dishes you need. Toaster & blender. Worked great. The coffee pot is a ninja with the option for single cup pods or full pot. They stocked coffee pods for us, that was nice that first day especially.

The location of the house was convenient for family and downtown Gilbert. The bedrooms, bathrooms and living room area were clean. We did ask for them to send a cleaning crew out for a deep clean of the kitchen because it was dirty and gross. The communication with the hosts was hit and miss with long waits at time. I finally filed a complaint with VRBO demanding a.resolution for the kitchen to get cleaned. ASAP because it was so bad. It was about 24 hours after I complained to hosts and they said they’d send someone and then no follow through. The overall property needs some TLC and is showing its wear and tear. The outside area was very nice and great to sit and visit.

Cons: The house needs general house maintenance. Stove took a long time to heat up so making food took longer than usual. Kids loved the game room, but the foosball table was definitely very beat up & pretty much couldn’t play the black colored team because all the “players” were broken. Bathroom door for master bedroom didn’t open & shut properly. The outdoor lounge chairs were ripped up. My little nephew sat in one & it broke underneath him. Could have had an extra clean before we showed up as well. The side of the house had old broken toys & disintegrated pool noodles. Also to book, they use a third party to verify you & there’s a refundable deposit of $200 for any damage - Their description listed it as $100, which I believe is notable. Pros: We did appreciate the water pressure & beds were very comfortable. The bedrooms, dining area and living room were fairly clean. The location was probably our favorite part of the property as it was close to everything we needed. Check in process was easy.

Overall, our experience was great especially for the price. However, two nights a neighbor held on his horn and played loud music around 4am. I know this is hard to control. The weeds in the backyard are taking over and just need to be pulled. (Easy fix) It was still a cute place and worked for us! Easy drive or walk to downtown Gilbert and it’s adorable!!!

This house is extremely clean and what furniture is there is pretty nice. The house itself is really “ticky tack”. Doors barely close, huge gaps in one exterior door. No grout between tiles in Master bathroom. Very sparsely furnished: no chest of drawers in bedrooms, no luggage racks, no ice trays in fridge. Outdoor pool area is very very nice. Was too cold out to really enjoy it but that’s obviously no fault of owner. Neighbors are very hostile to use of house as a VRBO. Three neighbors had yard signs saying “Homes not hotels”. Also no fault of owner but worth being aware of. Owner clearly wants to offer a good product but needs to invest a bit more in this house for it to be a good choice for renters.

We enjoyed our weekend stay in Gilbert. The owner was very communicative and helpful and made sure we were comfortable and safe. I highly recommend their properties.
