'Nice hotel in the form of a little palace. Lovely direct view to the coast. For the personnel nothing was too much. Nice hotel when you come as a couple. '

'The staff were friendly and nothing was to much trouble, breakfast was massive full Scottish, brill. Rooms were great, not 5 star but were comfy and clean. Atmosphere at the sands was great, locals are very friendly and I would defo book again, hats of to the hard working staff.'

'The property was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary milk, bread, jam and tea at the property as well as a welcome note and small reference manual for our stay. Of particular note were the sunrise and sunset ocean views both from the property itself and on the half-mile walk from the property to the train station. If you take the train from Edinburgh to Kinghorn in the evening, you might catch the sunset over the bridge- Gorgeous! We had a lovely time...

'Burntisland House is rather old, but well maintained. Room was clean and had a lot of space. Railway station is just a 5 minutes walk, with a direct train to Edinburgh. '

'This hotel is converted from a ship, which makes it really unique! The location is convenient, with easy access to the city and the Edinburgh city walk. The room was clean and comfortable — a great stay overall.'

'Clean room with spare blankets for colder night but room was warm. Bed was an actual double/queen not two singles pushed together. Shower had good pressure with extraction fan. Pub close had good deals with friendly helpful staff (shout out to wendy for helping with postage and other local questions) Breakfast had a good selection, was quick for service and tasted good.'
