Prachtige lodge

Wat een fantastische week hadden wij in Luncarty; in de lodge. Onze 1e kennismaking met Schotland. Vriendelijk ontvangst, alles was aanwezig voor een bijzonder prettig verblijf. De omgeving was mooi met voldoende activiteiten. Kortom, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Lovely location slightly off the beaten track - but accessible to Perth city within 15 minutes. Spotlessly clean everywhere - even in the hard to reach places. Very good communication with host - including around issues with the WiFi. A note on this - there is very limited mobile phone signal in the area - so do not expect that. Also, the WiFi in the lodge was not working (pulling less than 1MB/s download) - so we did not have usable WiFi for the whole stay. Host will be fixing this - but if check with host if it will be a major issue. Downloading and streaming not possible at that speed.The lodge has full Sky Tv channels - so that should have you covered. Nice small games room (during day only due to lighting) with tabletennis and small but functional weights bench etc.

What a fabulous stay at Birch Lodge we had. Donna, Dave and Dave made it extra special for my husbands 60th birthday celebration. The welcome pack and a birthday card were a lovely surprise. The accommodation was cozy and had everthing, like home from home with the extra luxury of the sauna in such a peaceful location. Especially enjoyed seeing all the wildlife, many birds, red squirrels and deer. Location was close to plenty of amenities and centrally located to visit many scottis attractions. Planning to return we loved it so much.

birch lodge was absolutely spotless. Donna and her son welcomed us a few mins after we arrived introductions were made. A lovely welcome basket was there waiting for us too. Blissful location, bird and wildlife amazing couldn't ask for better. They have a games room onsite too if you or kids fancy table tennis, darts, read books, videos they have literally thought of everything to make your stay just perfect...we will defo be back and recommend to family and friends too.

Ein sehr hübsches, gemütliches Haus in absoluter Stille. Einige hundert Meter davor steht das Haus der Vermieter, einige hundert Meter dahinter ein weiteres Ferienhaus. Dazwischen Natur, ein paar zufriedene Schafe und viel Grün. Herrlich! Es ist im Haus alles vorhanden, was man brauchen könnte, sehr sauber ist es außerdem. Ein kleines Stück vom Haus entfernt, außer Sichtweite, steht eine Scheune, in der es eine Tischtennisplatte, Darts und eine Hantelbank gibt, um auch mal an Tagen zuhause etwas Bewegung zu bekommen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr herzlich. Wenn es für uns nicht so weit weg wäre, würden wir jederzeit wieder dort Urlaub machen wollen. Man wohnt auch recht zentral, erreicht Perth sehr schnell, und ansonsten ist man in rund einer Stunde auch in Edinburgh, Stirling, den Highlands, etwas länger, 90 Min. durch herrliche Landschaft und man ist in Balmoral, auch Dundee ist schnell erreicht.

Wonderful Stay!

Beautiful place to stay when visiting Scotland! We felt like we were away from the city and enjoyed the peace and quiet but were a quick drive to anywhere we needed to go! The lodge was awesome! Clean and exactly as pictured! Would definitely stay again!

Relaxing holiday in splendid environment

Birch Lodge is even more spacious than the pictures might suggest as both bedrooms offer ample room to store one's belongings. Moreover, the lodge is absolutely comfortable even on rainy days when we could not sit outside relaxing in the quiet and beautiful surrounding. Then we sat in front of the large panorama window enjoying the birds and the clouds being driven by the wind and the ever changing reflections on the mountains in the distance. Thus the lodge was a perfect place for us, two nature loving couples looking for peace and quietness from the everyday hustle and bustle (though the lodge is close enough to Perth for shopping or even Edinburgh for a day trip).

Quiet secluded luxury

Excellent quality with brilliant facilities including lovely sauna. Well equipped kitchen and spacious lounge/dining with great view of forest / fields with hills beyond. All appliances including microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, washer/dryer, showers, extractors etc - worked perfectly and easy to use. We would love to come again.

Shall certainly be back!

What a lovely quiet place for New Year! It feels like a secret those two lodges hidden within beautiful woods but yet, it’s just off the A9 and near everywhere. We stayed in the Birch Lodge and loved the wood burner every evening and wow, what comfortable beds too! My daughter described her bed like ‘sleeping on a cloud’ The views from the living area are so beautiful and yet, you have trees all around. We live in the far treeless north, so I loved the forest and woodland walks and got my tree fix. Kitchen is perfectly equipped and everything is spotlessly clean. The lodge is very warm & comfortable in every way. Sadly didn’t get the time to use the sauna this time. Many thanks Donna & Dave for creating a little oasis in the woods - we’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely loved our week away, staying in this lodge. The lodge was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was out of the way enough that is lovely and peaceful, but not too far from everything you need. Would definitely recommend this brilliant lodge and looking forward to booking another stay.

Absolute bliss

I can't recommend this property enough. It is absolutely beautiful. Very isolated and the only noise is the tweeting of the birds. The hosts were very quick to respond with any questions before arrival and are there without hesitation if needed during your stay. Really close to local amenities and central for attractions. It was our anniversary whilst our stay and my husband booked the Scottish Deer Centre which is about 40 minutes away. If you are in love with deer then definitely go. We also had a meal at Pitcairngree Inn which was beautiful. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday in a beautiful setting then book this one. We never go to the same letting twice but this one we will definitely be back.

Wonderful stay

Birch lodge is set in the wonderful Pitlandie woods with lots of great places to explore nearby. The hosts, Donna & Dave are amazing looking after us before we arrived and just before we left. Birch lodge caters for everything you could possibly need including all your home comforts and more, with a sauna and a beautiful log fire and the setting outside is wonderful. We even saw some deer running through the woodland. Would love to come back again it's fantastic.

Just come back from Birch Lodge and we both agree this is the best lodge ew have ever been too. Every detail is thought about with a huge amount of taste. The lodge is large with huge on sweet bedrooms and Donna and Dave are brilliant and are available if you need. A five star rating is well earns. We plan to rebook in April

Stunning property and location

An ideal location if you want a peaceful holiday hideaway! We had never been to this part of Scotland before but would definitely return as there was plenty to see and do in the area. Stunning scenery on the doorstep to enjoy from the deck. We saw deer, woodpecker and buzzards in the garden. The lodge is well equipped with everything we needed. Spotlessly clean. Very comfy beds!!! Beautiful, private grounds to enjoy the sunshine (we had blue skies and sunshine all week....perhaps not typical but certainly appreciated!). If it's cold and damp.....the sauna would come into it's own too! Attentive hosts for any issues (we didn't have any though). Definitely recommend this property!

Excellent lodge in beautiful surroundings

Our family had a wonderful week long stay at Birch Lodge. Dave and Donna were there with a friendly greeting on arrival. Everything about the lodge was perfect, exceptionally clean and well equipped with all you need at hand. The surroundings are beautiful, secluded and peaceful with lots of birds and wildlife. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to friends and family. Thanks to the Pitlandie Lodges team for providing such a lovely place for our family holiday.

Five star property in beautiful location. Very comfortable and spacious. Tranquil location, yet only 2 miles from A9. Visited Perth, Dundee, Dunkeld, Pitlochry, Aberfeldy and climbed 2 Munros. The secure bike shed, large grassed area, Sky Sports/movies was a bonus. Would definitely recommend to people of all ages. Exceptional value for money.

Fantastic property in a wonderful location

We had a great time in this brand new property. Spacious, very clean, with everything you would ever need on a short break - tasteful and good quality bed linen / towels/ crockery. We really can’t fault it and look forward to a return visit to this beautiful part of Scotland. It was a pleasure being your first guests and well worth the long journey from Wales!
