'Wonderful hotel!'

'We must have been in the oldest room. Carpet that needed replacing, weird angle in the room, bathroom that also had weird angle near toilet and not long enough shower pane. The air up to the 3rd floor was broken so it was brutal walking up to the top. It's not up the hype. We will not be back. We still paid a lot of money to stay here and it was not up to standard.'

'This weekend was an anniversary gift for my daughter and her husband. They had a wonderful time and were highly complimentary of the accommodations, the delicious breakfast and the location.'

'Staff was great, room was very clean. Upon reading reviews people said the carpets were gross, there was no carpets in my room, very updated rooms and clean and beautiful. Breakfast was a bit disappointing fruit and bagels and English muffins were about the only options, not sure if this was because it wasn’t the weekend. Other than that would definitely stay again!!'

'My stay at Sandaway was totally awesome. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing vacation this is the place for you. My favorite part is the beach view. Sitting by the beach and hearing the sound of the waves and the birds and watching the wanter was heavenly. The staff were friendly, helpful and respectful. I needed assistance with my AC and they came in immediately and helped me with it. Having a pot of coffee at my door with a bag of goodies was a special treat.'

'We've been here twice before and everything was excellent. This time it was new owners and sad to say, it wasn't excellent. There were a lot of little dead bugs on the window sill and a long hair on the tub (I have short hair). The lamps by the bed wouldn't light up a closet much less the room. The blinds on the door and window had to be adjusted manually (no twirl stick) and at that, they didn't close completely. They have a lounge/restaurant but it wasn't open. 'The room was fine. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, so that ruined the experience. Turned out a dead battery was the cause. Not sure if the hotel could have prevented that but it still was a disappointment.'

'The property itself is beautiful, but unfortunately that’s where the positives ended for us. The rooms and restaurant feel very dated, and the amenities don’t match the price. Our room didn’t even have a refrigerator, so any drinks or food we brought with us stayed warm, and the shower knobs barely worked.
