We enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable quaint and had enough room for everyone including my dog. The back yard was perfect size. The only thing I would suggest is to have TV in the bedrooms there was 1 tv in 1 of the 3 bedrooms. Also their was dog hair under the beds and in the bathroom so much you that you could actually pick it up so I feel that it could have been cleaner especially if your welcoming pets. The communication with the owner was good as well. Other than than everything was great.

While we stayed this house was very pretty and nice and cool even with the summer heat outside. Definitely tons of space and plenty of blankets and towels. The dishes are very clean and oven works great. I love how we didn't have to keep track of a key. I also love how the backyard has lights making it very pretty and homelike. However, we did have some strang things happen late at night while there. We kept hearing footsteps coming from the livingroom when we were laying in bed to go to sleep. We were a bit uneasy when a pan fell from the counter and it had been pushed all the way to the wall on the countertop and the bathroom light in the bathroom near the laundry kept mysteriously coming on. We did sleep with the light on in the bedroom and my husband swears up and down he saw the edge of the bed next to him sink down as if someone had just sat down he woke me up screaming. Overall definitely a great stay just if traveling by yourself bring your pet so at night the noise is covered up by your pet. Very warm and inviting feel when checking in. Definitely a cozy home.

I loved the location of the beautiful cottage. The home had plenty of room for our needs. The main bathroom was very roomy. I loved old qualities and craftsmanship of the home. The yard was a perfect place for my Service Animals to move around and enjoy some down time. The host was very polite and informative.The multi level flooring was a little difficult for me to navigate as I use a wheelchair for mobility, but I loved the older charm of the home.I hope to be able to stay again.

The house is centrally located, and absolutely adorable. It was perfect for us and our dogs. Completely fenced back yard, and plenty of room for the dogs. The house was clean, neat, and completely stocked with everything you could need. The host, Samantha, was easy to contact and very quick to respond. I know there have been some comments on the neighborhood. While the house to the right appeared abandoned, I never felt concerned with it, or the rest of the neighborhood. Only downside we saw, was a house across the street with over a dozen cats outside. :) We would 10/10 stay here again! Easy drive to food, stores, and attractions. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this listing, and the host!!!

Great time.

Property was good not in the best of neighborhoods but no negative things occurred during our stay. The games were a plus but some are missing pieces and the dry erase markers need to be replaced. Lol.

The location isn’t in the best area but the house was secure. We had no problems. The house was perfect temperature. Wish there was a bigger couch. Plenty of parking. Overall a good stay for a short visit.

Nice little place

We were passing through as three adults with a couple of dogs, so the place definately met our needs and we found it to be a good value as such. Although the neighborhood seemed a bit run down, it did not feel unsafe at all. The one nearby neighbor we spoke with was very friendly and helpful. Recommend with understanding of the above comments. The host was great.

Beach life

This is a cute little house that looks like a lot of major remodeling has happened and is still in process of just a few little things...there was a problem of enough seating in living room because previous guests had destroyed a major piece of furniture...but all in all a nice place to stay..close to naval base and about half hour to the beach

Loved our stay!

Attended a wedding on the navy base. House is ADORABLE. We had a bit of trouble with construction detours but not a big deal. The neighborhood is a bit run down in spots and a vacant house next door BUT no issues whatsoever. Just an older neighborhood. The house was great for our needs and will absolutely stay again if needed! Definitely a great place for pets too. The backyard is so cute and enough space for the pups! (We ended up not bringing our pup but it would’ve been nice!)Highly recommend this property!

A weekend stay at best…

Property is misleading. Pictures are better than in real life. The house next door looks like a crack house, the neighborhood is sketchy. The house, itself, was cute, small. Has Roku TV… so… not a plus there. The Owner was extremely nice. The back bedroom bed was “a little squeaky”.

Ideal location for visiting NAS

The location of the property and the fact that pets are allowed trumps all. It is literally a 4 minute drive to the gate of NAS which made picking up/drop off of my Marine a breeze. I wanted to bring my Marines dog with me to visit for the long weekend and this owner allowed me to do so. I was exceptionally impressed that the stay did not require a laundry list of check out procedures and check out was at noon. The patio furniture in the backyard was a little disheveled but that didn't effect my stay any. The living room is not necessarily ideal for a group to share the space and all have comfortable seating, but again, I was there mostly to sleep and our doing activities with my Marine during the day. I would definitely stay again and would recommend this property to anyone that wants easy access to base and wants to bring a furry friend along for the ride.

First road trip

At first glance the neighborhood look pretty suspicious, but once we settled in and looked around we realized hey we are practically in a navy base and there are street lights everywhere, and lots of crimewatch signs, needless to say that was enough for us to feel comfortable through our stay. The onside of the house although smaller than our current home is nothing new to us, we were all very comfortable inside very cozy and wamr when we needed it to be and cool when it was warm outside. Overall a very great property for a cozy stay.
