We sold our house after 30 years in Gulf Breeze and wanted our two children 6 and 8 to be central with their summer camp at The Pensacola Country Club. We stayed for a week and had no issues except the bottom shower water pressure cutting off, TP holder loose and sagging down, and the top floor A/C Vent leaking (maybe the boot wasn't sealed allowing condensation to form). We were told to leave the doors open, but ultimately the boot needed to be sealed because the microbial growth that was forming from the condensation present 24/7. We added another week of stay but was denied after claiming the children's bed was broken and indentations in the wood were present among the TP holder being loose that we noticed. Our children did not sleep in those beds but did lay in them after showering from tennis. They slept in the King together and therefore we were quite surprised to be blamed for the poor bed's condition. We offered to pay for any damages so that we could stay central to finish their tennis camp. No benefit of doubt were scorned. We were denied on account of the alleged damages, but after cancellation we noticed price went up from our booking (July 4th week). Last minute we had to find another place to stay (upset), but otherwise no issue with the house. It's older and furnished well. Appliances are top notch and gas stove allows for higher quality culinary potential. Spacious both upstairs and downstairs. Neighborhood was safe and welcoming.
