Condo was as described. Beautiful view of the ocean. Very comfortable sofa, chairs, bedding, etc. Disappointment was in minimal items in kitchen and other places. Only 4 coat hangers, one dish towel, no scrubbing sponge, no salt pepper, no hand soap, no tissues, one trash bag, two dishwasher tablets, one needed for check-out. We went to Walmart to get things.

The check in and check out went perfectly smooth. The kitchen definitely did not have all of the cooking utensils and bowls that we expected (compared to the other condos we have stayed at) I would give it a seven out of ten on cleanliness. The main bathroom was extremely small. Still had a great view!

The ocean view was great, however, the building/unit was rather old and in need of major renovation. The refrigerator was rusty, toilets not high enough to accommodate seniors and toilet seats in need of replacement.After rain showers, puddles of water accumulated in hallway leading from entrance door to kitchen/ living areas which was extremely dangerous, and an invitation for slips and falls.Inspite of the lovely view of the beach, I would not recommend this condo to anyone else, nor would I occupy it again.Linen on bed and pillow cases were well-worn - lacking crispness. Some of the fees were exorbitant; such as damage waivers, parking, and cleaning fees.

Great views and overall ok. Does need some basic amenities updates though… Blinds were broken and unable to adjust. Only 3 coffee cups, only 1 teaspoon, no coasters, no kitchen scissors, no hand soap, and clock on wall is dead. Bed frame is on wheels and sitting down moves the headboard. Shower curtain falls off easily. TV can barely stream without erroring out back to main menu… Just overall small things that could improve the guest stay.

Property was easy to get to, and had a great convenient way to get to the beach. Pools and hot tub were great. Balcony view was amazing. The blinds were not adjustable and kept too much light in the living room where my daughter slept. Unit, appliances, dishes, etc were dated but the unit was decorated beautifully. The fridge had an ice maker which was also great. Outdoor storage for coolers and beach items were great. It would’ve been nice to have a matching code for all doors as it was a struggle trying to remember and find codes when getting back in into the building or gates. A small washer and dryer would’ve been nice but there was an option to wash laundry downstairs.

Beachfront great views of ocean! Clean and sufficient kitchen appliances and cookware. Quick response from host. Only negative was the hard bed in bedroom and sofa bed very thin but works for children.

Just Adequate

The location of the property on beautiful Perdido Key beach is spectacular. Having an indoor pool is a lifesaver for kids on inclement weather days. Unfortunately, all I can say about this unit, though, is that it's 'adequate'. The kitchen is very sparsely equipped (only 1 teaspoon, 4 mismatched coffee cups, 5 mismatched ice tea glasses, etc). The refrigerator is old with some sort of stains on the door, the dishwasher is also old and very loud. The toilet in the guest bathroom would not flush unless we lifted the lid and pulled the chain. The light in the master bath is dim; the shower dark once you pull the curtain. Ceiling in the master above the fan was thick with dust. Please note: this unit does NOT have a washer/dryer. It was in the description as: Shared. I admit, we should have noticed that, but our assumption that we would have our own washer/dryer was based on 25 years of renting condos in Perdido Key and always having those conveniences

Wouldn’t stay here again

Room was dirty…sand all over the floors, black mold all in the bathroom, everything was rusted, shower curtains were filthy, unwashed glasses and dishes in the cupboards, multiple mosquitoes and flies buzzing inside, bugs on the floor, sealer around toilet was decomposing and goop on the bathroom counter. I will never stay with Vacasa again

Worst condo to date…book a diff one.

Since 2018, we’ve taken our annual anniversary vacation to PK. I lived there for several years before relocating to Ft. Lauderdale when I met my husband & we both love the area. We always book through VRBO and have had great experiences every year - until this year. The condo was a 2/5 stars and here’s why: 1) Great view and nice balcony furniture. 2) Vertical blinds were missing 13 slats. This was actually mentioned in another review prior to our stay and ignored. We found almost all of them in the HVAC closet and put them back up. 3) Both TV’s were so outdated we couldn’t even hook up our Roku. Cable channels were super basic. We watch TV or movies if I’m having a bad “health” day so this is important to us for that reason. If you rarely watch TV on vacay, this won’t affect you. 4) Extremely poor Internet/WiFi signal. Not only that, but the connection WASN’T SECURE!! I expressed this and was ignored. 5) Spots on ceiling where there were previous leaks. The far LR corner had pieces of drywall hanging down. The faux plant below it was covered in drywall dust & paint chips. Notified management & nothing done. 6) Although you bring your own supplies, there weren’t ANY basic kitchen supplies. Every condo we’ve stayed at in the past 5 years had at least salt/pepper, cooking oil, spices, etc. Those nice little touches that are unexpected but make your stay just a touch better. Not here. You may as well be staying at the Days Inn or a motor lodge off the turnpike in Jersey. 7) Plenty of towels (Family Dollar quality) and no extra blankets or pillows. Had to use the ones from the bed. 8) Mildew everywhere in the shower - even on the curtain liner. 9) No W/D - the listing didn’t specify it was the shared condo laundry facilities but once I mentioned it, the listing was updated. SMH. 10) Furniture - satisfactory. They should really invest in a recliner or ottoman for the square cushioned chair. I had to move furniture in order to use it to watch the crap TV or our laptop on the coffee table. Basically, save yourself the disappointment and book a different condo. Our typical ones weren’t available so we were sort of forced into selecting this one. Lesson learned. Spend the extra $100-$300. If you can’t, don’t expect to be wowed when you walk through the door.

Wonderful hidden gem

Happily, this property looks exactly as it does on the online listing. We had a magnificent view of the Gulf from the 9th floor and we were within a very short walking distance of shops and restaurants across the street (go to The Jellyfish Restaurant - you won't be disappointed!) The kitchen was equipped with the basics and them some. We had a good laugh when we found a handheld mixer but no beaters! The kitchen chairs were a bit uncomfortable but nothing that a pillow/blanket couldn't solve. My only negative comment would be that I sent a message inquiring about the type of coffee pot (regular or K-cup) so I knew how to pack grocery-wise. Vacasa responded, advising they would check with local management, but I never heard back. Again, a minor thing, but I would have appreciated a response back. The unit is spacious and the views are unbeatable. All in all, it was a wonderful getaway :)
