'Small scale Bed & Breakfast overlooking Tarbert harbor. Nice rooms, with a smallish but complete bathroom. Alistair, our host, cooked us a lovely breakfast. Excellent starting or finish point for the boat trip to/from Islay.'

'We had an early ferry to Islay the next morning, and the staff were so thoughtful to prepare our breakfast ahead of time and leave it at the front desk. Great service and nice, comfortable room. The hotel is also very close to the ferry terminal — only about a 10-minute drive, which was very convenient.'

From the night check in staff to the lovely hostess at our breakfast to the dear gentleman serving us drinks n dinner at the bar, each one was so friendly and gave us great service. I am extremely happy I chose to come here. The rooms were of course huge and clean and luxurious but I absolutely loved the staff! '

'There was a glitch with check in but the owner when contacted was on scene promptly and the issue was resolved quickly. Property is very convenient for restaurants and although the bathroom is not ensuite it is very clean and modern. '
