'We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point. Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well. Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting. The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated. Definitely recommend 10/10'

'Came for a 5-night break in the Lake District, this B & B did not disappoint. The owners Susann & Glenn were very welcoming. Shoes are left at the door, so do bring slippers. The rooms are bright, spotlessly clean, well furnished with tea, coffee & biscuits plus a small fridge, all thoughtfully and immaculately presented. 'The 3 course meal was al a carte status, excellent made by chef/ owner. Lovely bedrooms and v clean and owners very welcoming. Lovely views and walks nearby. For children the wildlife park is worth a visit nearby. '
