'We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point. Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well. Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting. The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated. Definitely recommend 10/10'

'This is a great place to stay! The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was large compared to many places we’ve stayed at, it is a very quiet neighborhood yet an easy walk to town, and the breakfast is excellent! We only got the continental breakfast (which can come with porridge or overnight oats), but Sue puts out a gorgeous fruit bar with yogurt and a variety of other toppings that we feasted on (her hot breakfast menu looks awfully good too). We look forward to our return there after...

'Lovely little B&B with parking, inbetween Windermere and Bowness. The staff were super helpful, and breakfast was great. The only small downside was the lack of sound proofing of the rooms, particularly noise from the landing. Would still stay again though'
