« A beautiful restored shophouse. Very welcoming staff and very clean common areas. The rooms can get a bit warm in the afternoon as part of the roof is covered in zinc and conducts heat directly into the room. Bed is located in the attic which can be a slight inconvenience but it adds to the overall charm of the place. Toilets are small and poky but still good enough for me. For the price, I would still recommend this place for those seeking something out of the ordinary. »

« L'hôtel est une magnifique demeure d'un riche commerçant chinois du 19eme siècle. Nous avons pris des photos dans tous les angles mais rien n'y fait, les photos ne suffisent pas à décrire son charme. Nous étions dans la suite Cinnamon 2 avec 2 enfants dans la pièce du bas et les parents dans celle du haut. Les chambres sont bien espacées ce qui laisse suffisamment d'intimité :) par contre il n'y avait qu'une seule salle d'eau, à l'étage mais on peut s'en contenter. Bien sûr il ne faut pas...

« Ambiance sympa. Très propre. belle grande chambre. Mais salle de bain séparée nécessitant de traverser le hall d'entrée et pas mentionné dans l'offre et surtout très très bruyant. Nous avons eu l'impression d'être réveillée par un éléphant. Nous étions au rez de chaussée. Sans doute qu'il est mieux de demander d'être au dernier étage. Sinon personnel sympathique et endroit bien situé. »

« Short walk to gurney plaza. Convenient location. Also close to bus stop that heads to town. Clean comfortable room with ample space for luggage. Bathroom -shower with soap and shampoo provided. Communal fridge and freezer as well as a water filter to refill your own bottles. The room we had was upstairs(one floor up). Key pad for main entrance, then card to get into room and activate electricity/air conditioning.... Good value for money and good location, would recommend to family and...

« La connection internet n’était pas fameuse. Il ne devraient pas avoir le petit déjeuner inclus, car ils ne sont pas équiper pour cela. Personnel super gentil, la chambre était selon la description. Pour le prix, c’était oki. Merci »

« Was deffo a budget place- basic box room with two beds, was comfy enough for a short stay. Air con worked well. Bathroom small but effective. Overall a perfect place to be used just for sleeping rather than if you're looking for somewhere luxury. Staff were absolutely lovely and friendly, as well as very accomodating and helpful. »

« I came to Penang to register my daughter into USM. It’s a great choice. It’s near to USM around 15mins. Car can park inside hotel with gates for FREE. speedmart 100meter, waking distance for local food. Becareful they lock the gate at 12midnight for security . »

« The location is not updated. I was informed that they have shifted to Mansion One when I called up upon check-in. And the manager promised this is much better than the previous one. This wasn't the main concern anyway. What disappointed us was the room condition, which was totally different from what was advertised. There wasn't lighting in the room. I requested to change to another room yet was informed than all rooms are fully booked. They sent a maintenance guy to change lightbulb. However...

« The hotel knowing out wrong location on expedia to attract customers. Not in georgetown! »

« The room was super warm and humid. The windows couldn't shut fully and had incects coming in. The opposite of the property have chickens and dogs that will make noise super early in the morning. There were some lion dance practices till late at night. The room have no poles/hooks to hang stuff. Only have a small row of hooks behind the door. The property wall had tissue paper stuffed in it and multiple defects on the wall. The property has very noisy flooring, I can hear everyone walking...
