« We had a great time staying at the Little Yellow House and in Pella. The house was beautifully furnished with lots of amenities. It was close to downtown and all the cute shops. « Nice property and the tiny house was great for a one person stay. Bathroom is good sized. I worked remote from the living area. The mini-split works very well and the sleeping loft stayed nice and cool even though the outside temp felt like 102 a couple of the days I was there. Was able to get in some mornings at the Ahrens park driving range as well as some morning walks in. Great experience at the tiny house on the prairie! »

« Good place to stay! Got my daughter from Ames and enjoyed a nice visit with her. House had everything we needed, and we loved the bakery/bistro across the street for breakfast. Visited the Farmers Market, Botanical Gardens, and outlet stores in Des Moines. »

« Our group could not say enough about how wonderful this house is. It was one of my best VRBO stays. The home is very well appointed and welcoming. Owners left no stone unturned with great directions for use of everything.in the home. Deck was inviting and very relaxing. We loved watching the golfers with our morning coffee. I would not hesitate to recommend this house. Don't be surprised if we return and actually golf....not just mini golf! »

« We recently stayed here for 3 nights with 7 kids. We found it large enough to really spread out and everyone have their own space. The kids especially enjoyed having a king or queen sized bed (almost) entirely to themselves. We didn't even use the "extra" bedding areas-office or living/ front room pull out sofa. »
