'Really sweet, clean and bright little apartment in a good location for shops and restaurants. Communication from the host was spot on and access into the apartment was so practical and straightforward. I would definitely stay here again as for a short stay (when you’re not really needing to cook much), it’s got such a wholesome and welcoming feel! Our apartment was up a few flights of narrow stairs so just mentioning that in case anyone has mobility issues though. '

'Stayed for 2 nights when at a conference at the Brighton centre. I think this is the best area to stay in Brighton and it was very easy to find/access the property from the instructions. A couple of things could take it from being a decent stay to somewhere really nice, which wouldn’t cost much. The flat was clean however the bed uncomfortable. 'Heel mooi boetiek hotel. Top gelegen aan zee met een prachtig uitzicht. Mooie kamer met bad voor het raam. Geen lift maar medewerkers helpen met de koffers te dragen of in een soort dienstliftje te plaatsen. Hele aardige medewerkers. Wel jammer dat ontbijt tot 10.00 uur is. We kwamen er om 9.50 en toen waren de vleeswaren op die ze niet meer wilden aanvullen omdat om 10.00 uur het ontbijt sluit. Wat erg opvalt in restaurants en barren is dat het personeel al een half uur van te voren gaat...

"As a tourguide I travel the whole world and I basically live in hotels. So I know my fair share of hotels, rooms and lobby's. But the Mercure in Brighton is truly a hidden gem! Whát a great hotel! Go here! You won't be disappointed. Fair price, great rooms, wonderful staff and all very kind! The managers are visible and always helpful. From Betsy in the restaurant to the staff in the bar, reception or restaurant. Big big compliments! It truly feels like entering a movie set or tv serie. You are directly part of this Brighton family. We had a Christmas look, but you keep taking pictures! Little details, all very clean and the room was great. We had seasight, but the room has all you need! Great bed, perfect shower, ammenities, bottle of free water with and without gas and all you could think of. I cannot find any negative about this hotel! The breakfast was superb for every taste. If there is space you can park in the back of the hotel for 18 pounds (if you are a new member of Accor, otherwise it is 28 pounds per day. Nearby are more options. If you order a drink in the bar? Do tell them not to poor to the rim. You pay the max and it is too much. They should ask for that, especially if you already had one!? And he poored the next automatically to the higher volume/price. Otherwise very nice all over. Location couldn't be better. Compliments to all!"
