'This property is run by a wonderful woman and her family. It is in a quiet village in the Rioja Alavesa close to other towns and villages in a beautiful setting. The property is a "casa rural" which comes close to a B&B with amazing breakfast for a very reasonable price. The terrace opens to a breathtaking view of the vineyards and mountains. It is very clean, comfortable and recently renovated. I would certainly return and also recommend. Thanks, Amaia y familia!'

Bij aankomst met regen en in een smal straatje links beneden weet je niet of je een juiste keuze hebt gemaakt voor je tussenovernachting. Eenmaal binnen in het mooi ingerichte hotel/B&B wordt je zeer vriendelijk ontvangen. De kamers zijn mooi schoon en leuk ingericht met meubeltjes en de douches zijn fantastisch. 'Really attractive and nicely furnished converted old building. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was just about perfect. Garai is a lovely village and has two magnificent restaurants within a 10 minute walk, ideal for the tasting menu with accompanying wines. A little fitness is needed as the walk up to the hotel from the car park is quite strenuous and there are a few flights of stairs if you are in one of the upper rooms. 'Wat een prachtig verblijf plaats! Mooi in een middeleeuws toren met privé lift naar je kamer. Alles was op elkaar afgestemd en super leuk ingericht. Je voelde je net een jonkvrouw. Jammer dat er in de buurt niet veel was maar gelukkig hadden we onze auto mee. En de hond was ook van harte welkom. '
