'The house was beautiful. Welk equiped kitchen. All items we ever needed were available. Good beds. Communication with owner Fabienne was very good. We were with 2 families and had plenty of room. Swimming pool was fantastic and acces was safe for the 2 Year old. We loved everything about the house.'

'We stayed for one week in this marvelous farmhouse at the Dordogne. It is a very authentic and beautiful restaurated farm, with a lot of space, a great kitchen and very good bedrooms. But most of the time we spend on the big terrace, with nice shade and a great view on the valley. Although it is very close to Sarlat and the Dordogne, it is a very quiet valley. 'Nous avons passé un super séjour dans ce gîte très cosy, au calme et proche de sites incontournables. La piscine, le jacuzzi et le gîte sont très bien entretenus par des propriétaires très accueillants. 'Karen’s Le Chouettes is a lovely rural property that was perfect for our family. We stayed in the cottage and we found it so well laid out with plenty of privacy for everyone but many common areas to enjoy each others company. We had a few days in April where the kids were able to enjoy the pool. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were of top quality. Plenty of thick towels were also provided. 'Lovely house and base for exploring the area. House had everything we needed including for us adults - gas bbq and outside fridge for cold beers on the terrace but also kids enjoyed private pool.. 10 minute walk into Monpazier which is lovely little medieval town to explore with a few nice restaurants and a small supermarket. So much to do in the area but it was difficult to leave the pool and house each day! .. Would definitely come back!'

Our hosts were welcoming, helpful with information about dining, shopping and touring the area. They were especially attentive to our needs.
