'We were greeted with a delicious welcome juice and a cold towel. Check in was speedy, bags were promptly delivered to our room and the room itself was spacious, cool and with a nice view. The hotel provides towels for the beach as well as the pool and the breakfast was a good spread with an egg station. All staff were friendly and calm. Coconut tree hill is a very short walk and mirissa beach was 200lrk in a tuk tuk but was also walkable. Would definitely stay again'

'This hotel was a highlight of our trip and easily our favourite in Sri Lanka. The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better- right on the beach and just a short walk to Coconut Tree Hill, Parrot Rock, and plenty of dining options. We were so impressed by the ocean-view rooms that we upgraded on the spot, and it made our stay even more special. We’re already looking forward to our next visit'

'Staff/owners are lovely and so helpful. Parked our tuktuk at the bottom of the short path (2mins to the hotel from tuktuk) Wifi great. We upgraded during our stay as we was originally in a double room with no AC. It was far too small and hot. So we then paid to move upstairs. The room had AC and was bigger for our cases. Area is fine. Food and beach nerby. '

'The staff was amazing the chef made some of the best food I have ever tasted!! He was very sweet and very involved in all aspects of the villas. The curry was out of this world as well as the pasta 10 out of 10 all around. The room was large and beautiful, you felt like you had the place to yourself very highly recommend!!!'

'We returned for our 4 day Mirissa trip and stayed at Central Beach. The hospitality, atmosphere and comfort was wonderful during our last stay and once again, met our expectations. The restaurant has really good food, variety, fresh seafood, and kind, helpful staff. This hotel has a beautiful beachside location, is a walkable distance to stores, restaurants, a doctor and gift shops. We are definitely going to be repeat visitors. '

'We had amazing stay at Ubuntu. From manager to housekeeping all staffs were helpful. This place puts customer service above all. Shout out to Vishaw, Indika and kitchen staff for going above and beyond. Besides great staff, hotel is located at quaint beach where you can spot turtles at night. They even had baby turtle releasing event in the evening. Overall I highly recommend this boutique hotel. We had great experience. '
